What is it that you need to hear today?

Do you feel like you need somebody telling you it's okay to slow down?

It's okay to take your time with the things that you have to get done.

Do you need somebody in your ear telling you to place your hand on your own heart and have more compassion for yourself today with whatever you're going through?

Do you need somebody to simply just hug you,

Embrace you so you don't feel alone,

So you feel understood,

Held,

Supported?

Do you need somebody to tell you you're doing an amazing job,

That you're an amazing human being,

That whatever you're putting out there,

Your creativity,

Whatever you're making is good enough,

Is better than good enough,

Is incredible?

Or do you need someone to just tell you to stop,

Stop for an hour,

Stop for a day,

Regroup,

Come back?

We look for these messages in the world outside of ourselves when really,

Right now you could fill that gap for yourself,

You could fill that lack of support,

You could fill that lack of compassion,

You could fill that lack of having permission to take a day,

Take an hour,

Because you don't need anybody else telling you that,

You can simply gift it to yourself.

Take a moment and see what resonated with you or if there's something else that you feel like you need to hear right now and try and give that to yourself.

I need a hug,

I need embrace,

I need to be felt like I am appreciated,

I am held.

Within that,

What's missing?

Is it self-care?

Do you need to take a really nice shower?

Do you need to just lay down and literally embrace yourself,

Give yourself a big hug or smile from within,

Know that you're on the right track,

Know that you're doing the right thing,

Because you can give that to yourself.

Take a step back,

Look at your life,

Look at what you've put out there in work,

What you've put out there with your friends,

With your family,

What are you creating right now,

How can you give yourself love through that,

Through all of it.

Say,

Yeah,

That was a job well done,

That was a project well done,

That was me being a good,

Good friend and being supportive and attentive,

Etc.

,

Whatever that might look like for you.

Yes,

I am.

I am.

I am supported,

I am loved,

I am relevant.

And blink and open your eyes and know that's your life.

Blink and open your eyes right now,

Try it.

And when you open your eyes,

See it,

Feel it,

Because it is there.

And all you need to do is believe it.

Believe it.

And you will always be caught by yourself.

You will be held by your self,

Your space self,

The self within you.

And then yes,

You can go get your hugs,

You can go get your praise,

You can go get whatever you need external of you,

But find it internal first.

Find that embrace.

Because it's always there.
