Find a comfortable resting position,
Away from any distractions.
Close your eyes and take a moment to check out of the world and check in with yourself.
Start by taking a slow breath in for 4 seconds,
Hold for 7 and exhale for 8.
Repeat this 3 times on your own.
In for 4,
Hold for 7 and exhale for 8.
Continue checking in with yourself from head to toe.
Start by relaxing your eyes even deeper and clench your jaw.
Continue taking slow deep breaths.
Relax your shoulders,
Your hands.
Allow your hips to sink a little deeper.
Rotate your ankles slowly back and forth and let them drop in a resting position.
Take another deep breath in and out.
Now fully imagine the ceiling above you slowly starts to open up.
You have an open sky above you with no limits.
As you lay here a large white cloud comes to you and it slowly makes its way underneath you.
It starts floating you away.
The cloud is bringing you to your safe place.
A place that makes you feel at peace and away from the world.
It can be an imagined place or a place you like to escape to in real life.
Start visualizing this place.
Once you arrive step off of your cloud and look around.
What do you see?
Imagine in detail.
What do you feel?
The warm sun on your face?
A small breeze of wind in your hair?
Is there water?
Can you hear sounds of nature?
Sit down in this place and take another deep breath in and out.
Bring a desire you have for your life forward or something you're struggling to make a decision in.
It can be anything.
Trust yourself in what's coming up.
Start connecting with yourself internally starting with your mind.
What are some concrete facts of the situation or the desire?
Just simplify it and name some thoughts that come through with it.
Now let those thoughts pass and start connecting with your heart.
What emotions are coming up?
Do you feel a spark of joy and hope?
Happiness?
Or do you feel anxious and unsure?
Whatever it is,
Feel through it and don't suppress those feelings.
Now connect with your body.
When you think of this thing,
What sensations do you feel in your body?
Do you feel expanded and light?
Or do you feel tight and contracted?
The mind can bring you in a million directions,
But connecting with the sensations in your body won't lie.
Now invite a safe person forward to your space.
This can be God,
A loved one,
Past or current,
Your future self,
Whoever makes you feel the most at peace.
Invite them to your safe place and connect with them.
Give them a hug they've been here with you the whole time and know your deepest desires and that you're capable of far more than you give yourself credit for.
Tell them your desire or what decision you're struggling with.
What are they telling you?
Take a moment to connect with them.
As you get ready to go back to reality,
Know that your safe space and person are always here for you to come back to.
They will always be here for you through this entire journey.
Lay back down on your cloud.
As it's floating you back to your reality,
Take a few more deep breaths and fully embrace the trust within yourself,
The trust in God,
The universe,
Your support person.
As your cloud arrives back to reality,
Slowly wiggle your toes,
Your fingers.
Take another deep breath in and out.
Take as much time as you need to process any thoughts coming up and slowly come back to reality when you're ready.
