Welcome back beautiful being,
This is Harrison and today another guided meditation from my heart to yours.
Today's intention is releasing work stress,
Learning to let go and transform the stress that we accumulate in all the spaces and places we show up giving our heart,
Giving our energy,
Giving our service.
So as you begin to get comfortable and drop in know that today this meditation is for the moments where your mind won't switch off and conversations replay,
Deadlines linger,
Expectations sit heavy on your heart when the work energy follows,
Follows you home,
Follows you into the places where you want peacefulness and ease.
This space today is for you to put it all down,
You are not the one who carries the work,
Right now you are allowed to drop it.
So we will begin by transitioning into a deep arrival of stepping out of work mode,
Closing your eyes if they're not closed already and breathing in with me in through your nose and slowly gently out through your mouth,
Going again breathing in through your nose and gently out through your mouth.
Bring awareness to any of the work related stress that has accumulated maybe in your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your nervous system at large that may be keeping hold,
Keeping score of what is left running after the day is complete.
Wherever it is,
Take a slow intentional breath now with me,
Breathing in into that space to let it open,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Letting this stress move and flow.
Going again,
Bringing awareness to another piece of tension from your workday,
Breathing in,
Opening it and breathing out,
Releasing,
Letting go.
Let us together now imagine a moment,
A space from your day,
Maybe it's your office,
Maybe it's a room,
A role,
A responsibility,
Whatever it is.
Together with me,
Let us see you walking out from that space.
See yourself energetically leaving this problem,
Leaving this environment,
Leaving these people,
Leaving them behind you and simply with me stepping outside of this part of your day,
This component of your day.
Take a moment here to feel this shift,
Take a moment to feel the air,
To feel the space around you shift and widen and evolve the moment that you move out,
Move beyond.
And it's in this new space outside of our workspace,
Our work stress,
We can check in with our body.
We can check in with where the stress from our workday has landed.
Maybe it's a pressure,
A knot,
A buzzing restlessness in your nervous system.
Whatever it is and wherever it may be,
You don't need to fix it.
With me here and my energy with you,
With my heart with you,
Notice this tension,
This stress,
This pressure and place one hand somewhere on your body that feels the most activated,
The most tense and gently breathe into this place.
Gently with your own pace,
Own speed of breath,
Breathe into this tension,
This stress,
Baggage that you have taken with you.
And as you breathe,
Let this stress know that I see you.
Let this stress know that I feel you.
And let this stress know that it can soften now.
As you continue to breathe so much love and compassion in your heart,
Let us take this energetic baggage release a little bit further and I wish and invite for you to imagine that as you have left your work container,
Your workspace,
Work environment that you've carried an energetic backpack with you.
Maybe some of this backpack has already started to release and dissolve with your breaths,
With your attention,
With your awareness already in this journey.
Let us check and see what is left.
Inside of this backpack there may be tasks,
Conversations,
Responsibilities,
Expectations,
Unfinished loops,
Urgency.
Some of this,
You're some of it,
Someone else's,
Some of it matters and some of it does not.
Whatever is in this backpack,
In this new environment that you are creating with your breath,
With your intention,
With your ease,
Let us take it a step further and visualize,
See ourselves taking this backpack off.
Feel the weight of it.
Feel it shift as you place it down beside you.
Knowing that you're not throwing it away,
You're not abandoning your life and your commitments and responsibilities.
You're simply lovingly choosing rest.
You are allowed to put this down whenever you feel you've been carrying it for too long.
So we will shift and continue now this stress release with our backpack free state of being by practicing a breath that will shift us deeper into a parasympathetic state.
So bringing your full attention to your breath and breathing in for 4,

Inhale for 4,

1 and exhale for 6,

And one more round.
Inhale for 4,

Coming back to your natural inhale and exhale rhythm.
Sitting here for a moment,
Feeling how your nervous system has already shifted.
It's already moved into this new space,
New environment outside where you spend most of your time.
We will finish this practice in our heart,
As we often do in these journeys.
So shift your inner awareness into your heart space.
Placing your left hand on your heart,
On your chest.
Together we will observe what is underneath this stress.
Now that we have created room for the stress to dissolve,
What remains?
You may notice passion,
Care,
Devotion and desire to contribute.
A desire from your heart to create something better for the world.
Take this moment to connect with your deeper intention beneath the pressure that you carried.
Because you are allowed to care deeply without carrying so much stress constantly.
You are allowed to be passionate without burning yourself out.
You are allowed to contribute without abandoning yourself.
So as you feel your hand on your heart,
Let yourself feel this purposeful drive behind.
The stress that accumulates.
Let your breath rest here for a moment as you reconnect back to this purposeful drive.
You see within this passion and this drive a beautiful light starts to grow from your heart.
It starts to wash out into your field.
Up through your throat,
In your forehead and crown,
Down through your belly,
Your solar plexus,
Down to your legs and the earth.
It washes out to the left and to the right of you.
This warm light coming from your purposeful heart is here to remind you that not only can you feel and hold yourself and the purpose and passion that lives in all the work that you do.
But this light is here to clear and protect you from getting lost in overwork,
In over-forcing,
Over-pushing.
Softening any final parts of tension,
Pressure and resistance.
This light from your heart beaming in all directions you carry with you into all that you step into.
Into all that you create,
You give this world so purposefully.
So sit here for a few more moments feeling your heart,
Feeling this light and feeling this new space.
Where you are both connected to what you are here to do and also free the baggage,
The backpacks and all that you bear from pushing and working beyond your limits.
Soaking up final moments of ease and groundedness.
When you are ready you can begin to gently bring your attention back into the body,
Back into your feet,
Your fingers.
And with grace and compassion slowly opening your eyes,
Carrying this sense of space,
Sense of purpose,
Sense of balance back into your waking state.
