Today's meditation is centered around the intention of stress management,

Particularly for those of you who are leaders,

Visionaries,

High achievers,

Those of you who carry heavy workloads,

High responsibilities and constant pressure.

Today,

We are gently going to release the weight of stress,

Giving your body,

Your mind and your spirit permission to rest and connect to your inner space of clarity,

Power and peace.

So,

When you're ready,

Finding a comfortable position in your meditative nest,

Either in a chair,

Lying down or anywhere you can be fully supported,

You can close your eyes and let us begin by taking a big deep breath in through our nose,

Into our belly and slowly out through our mouth.

Going again,

Noticing the inhale even more deeply,

Breathing in and letting go even more stress.

This beautiful rhythm of your breath is always yours,

It's always there waiting to come back to steadiness,

Waiting to come back to presence.

With each inhale,

I want you to bring your awareness to reclaiming this control.

And with each exhale,

Allowing more tension to soften and welcoming in a sense of ease into your body.

So,

Let us hear now as we continue to drop deeper and deeper,

Bring to mind the stress,

The overwhelm,

The mental load you carry.

Notice where it resides in your body,

Maybe stuck in your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Chest,

Stomach,

Maybe in your legs,

Your hips,

Your knees,

Your feet.

Wherever it is,

Simply observe without judgment,

Without expectation or forcing and observe with a loving acknowledgement of all the hard work you've been doing.

All the hard work that you are choosing to take on.

All the hard work that you are deciding to move through.

Recognize the weight of this responsibility you've carried so diligently,

So courageously,

So passionately.

Now in this weight,

This load of stress,

Let us together imagine a gentle stream of warm golden light entering through the top of your head,

Through your crown.

And I invite you to see it,

To feel it flow down through your body,

Collecting any tension,

Collecting any overwhelm and worry as it moves through you.

Connecting it with your breath and seeing this light dissolve stress,

Epilepsy.

See it dissolve stress so much grace as it passes,

Melting the tightness,

Entangling your thoughts,

Lovingly softening any muscles that are holding on to stress.

Visualize this stress leaving your body.

See it with every exhale,

Drifting away slowly,

Drifting away as leaves blow on the wind,

As clouds drift in the sky.

And we may even acknowledge and notice our mind resisting,

Wanting to hold on to these stresses,

Hold on to this tension,

But simply notice this.

Notice all of it and come back to flow,

Come back to ease.

Come back to release.

Continuing to breathe,

Observe,

Release.

And in this stress transformation here now,

Let us take a moment to appreciate,

To appreciate just how amazing it is that you have held so much,

To appreciate just how far you've stepped in and held so much responsibility.

Let us take a moment to appreciate you for continuing to show up and allow this compassion,

This love,

This self-love to wash over us,

To wash over you.

Honoring your effort,

Honoring your dedication,

Honoring your willingness to face challenges with an open heart and a bold vision.

It is here you are not just releasing pressure,

You're not just releasing stress,

You are acknowledging your strength,

Your courage and your beautiful heart in holding all of this.

So with me as you visualize the stress leaving your body in each exhale,

Drifting away like leaves on a calm river flow,

Do so with so much appreciation,

So much gratitude.

And ground this awareness,

Ground this release into your feet,

Into the earth connecting to the earth beneath you.

Continue to visualize in your mind's eye,

Powerful roots growing up from the soles of your feet,

Anchoring you deeply,

Holding you,

Securing you,

Creating a foundation in which you can release more stress through these roots,

Through the earth and allowing the earth to absorb the remaining stress and pressure.

Breathing into this transformation and breathing out,

Letting go further into the earth,

Feeling the safety,

Feeling the support,

Feeling a sense of being held by this steady presence that is both beneath you and in you.

And coming back now,

Moving up from the earth,

Up from our feet,

Back into our heart space,

Back into the warmth in the center of our being,

Feeling it expanded,

Feeling it soft,

Feeling it open.

And it's here we invite forth extra layers or expanded layers of clarity and ease to fill up any more spaces of stress,

To hold any more spaces of stress,

To support any more spaces of stress,

And to feel what is now ready to be filled with grace,

With ease,

With softness.

Seeing,

Feeling clear,

Calm,

Light radiating out from your heart,

Extending out,

Reminding you that even in high pressure roles,

Even in moments of so much going on,

So much doing,

So much working and creating,

You can still operate from presence,

You can still operate from grace and grounded power.

And it's here I invite you with me to affirm the following words,

I release what I cannot control.

I release my overthinking patterns.

I am supported.

I am at ease.

I am present.

Breathing in all of these words and continuing a few more breaths at your own pace,

Letting your body continue to feel this lightness,

Letting your mind continue to feel this calmness and allowing your heart and spirit to feel this centeredness,

Allowing more of this spaciousness to take up your field.

And finally,

Noticing how stress no longer weighs you down and today has flowed through you and away.

When you're ready,

You can gently wiggle your fingers and toes and with grace and ease,

Slowly opening your eyes,

Carrying this sense of calm and clarity with you into the rest of your day or evening.
