Today's poem is titled, Divine Inner Child. Deep within my heart, There's a child that holds on tight. A part of me that never grew with endless joy and loving mind. A reminder of my innocence that I once had to hold. A spark of play and pleasure that never grew so old. The child within me giggles with delight and divine glee. It sees the world with wonder and all it wants to free. It's a symbol of my pure self that still shine so bright, A ray of hope and happiness that I hold with loving light. It helps me to remember the person I wish to be, The kindness and the love that will always set me free. So I listen to my inner child and I take his tiny hand. I use him as my conscience. He helps me take a stand. And as I grow and change and face the ups and downs, The child within me stays with a smile and merry sound. For he's a precious part of me that I'll always treasure and keep a source of my love, My truth, My purest essence. " He will read.
