Welcome,
Beautiful heart,
Back to another guided meditation.
Today's intention is an inner child healing,
Letting yourself be held.
A meditation focusing in on that beautiful little inner girl,
That little inner boy needing comfort,
Needing love.
Closing your eyes when you're ready.
And a special note that today's guided journey is being recorded in the mountains of Maiolo,
Italy,
In the forest.
So you will hear birds,
You will hear the wind.
You will hear nature.
I invite you to allow that to hold you.
Allow that to be a part of this journey today.
Taking our first deep breath together,
In through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Meditation today.
Is for the part of you that came strong.
Too early.
Part of you that learnt to hold everything together to self-soothe quietly.
To survive by not needing too much.
And maybe this inner child part.
Brought you strength,
Maybe it protected you.
But often sometimes.
The nervous system forgets what it truly feels like to be.
Deeply supported,
Deeply nourished.
To rest in someone else's care.
To fully let go.
So that inner child path.
And relax.
Today,
This is your permission to stop carrying everything alone.
You can simply be held.
As we breathe in together.
And there.
As you continue to hear some of the birds and the nature.
As you continue to feel my voice and the love I have here to hold you,
To meet that inner child part.
I invite you to bring one hand to your chest.
And one hand to your belly,
Your stomach.
And we will begin the short breathing pattern to relax,
To deepen into softness together.

We'll breathe in for four and out for six.

Bracing to stop holding.
And in this safety.

You're in a child.
Your little inner boy,
Your little inner girl.
So with more of my presence and love holding you.
I now invites you to imagine.
Yourself walking.
In a peaceful place.
Maybe this place.

Is a forest.
Much like the one I'm in now.
Maybe it is a warm feel.
A cozy room filled with light.
Or another natural setting that has pleasant memories.
Whatever this location is.
Now see in this space.
A younger version.
Of yourself.
Younger child,
Your inner child.
There's no pressure to see them any particular way.
There is no right or wrong.
All that is needed is for you to open your heart to sense them.
As you open.
As you sense… Notice how this child feels.
Maybe the child feels tired.
Cautious.
Fearful.
Maybe the child is longing and craving for comfort.
For attention.
For love.
Instead of trying to fix them or solve their problem.
Simply see yourself sitting.
The side.
See yourself sitting beside them,
Present.
Soft.
Safe.
Let your inner child feel.
That you are here.
Breathing into this safety with me.
Amen.
Going again,
Breathing into this safety.
And out.
And going again with the breath,
But this time doing it with your inner child.
Breathing in together.
Breathing out,
Relaxing.
Going again,
Breathing in together.
And breathing out,
Both of you relaxing.
Being in the safe space.
Being the loving space.
And gently repeating after me,
Saying this towards them.
You do not have to carry everything alone anymore.

Imagine.
Wrapping this younger version of you,
This child version of you,
In Maybe this warmth takes the form of a blanket.
Maybe this warmth takes the form of the light shining from your heart.
Maybe this warmth is your safe presence.
Maybe this warmth is a loving embrace.
Whatever it is,
See yourself giving.
From this place.
And notice.
How they and how you feel.
Notice your body unclenching.
Your heart.
Softening.
This warmth that you give to your child coming back to you.
Compassion.
Flowing.
As a two-way channel.
Breathing this in.
And.

Opening your heart now.
Just a little bit more.
And they now create the loving space for you to ask your inner child simply with the intention of asking.
Ask what beliefs?
What thoughts?
What stories!
He or she wishes.
To release.
That he or she wishes to.
Finally let go of.
Beliefs and stories such as.
I have to do this alone.
It's not safe for me to cry.
It's not safe for me to feel deeply.
I cannot speak up.
I should stay small.
Whatever the belief,
Whatever the story.
Allow it to loosen.
Allow it to dissolve.
You're in a child now.
That they can let it go.
Support is not weakness.
Being held is not failure.
Connection and intimacy is not danger.
Breathing in deeply.
And out letting go.
Breathing in deeply.
And out,
Letting go.
You resting here.
Breathing.
Naturally.
Feeling this support.
This love.
All that is holding you.
Feeling it around you.
Feeling it in the love in my voice.
Feeling it in the ground beneath you.
Feeling it in your beating heart.
You were never floating through this world alone.
Even now,
As you hold your inner child,
There is something even bigger holding you.
Allow yourself to receive the support.
Allow yourself to receive.
To love.
He never needed.
To prove you never needed to sacrifice.
You never needed to become.
This far-off version to be worthy.
Of this support.
So with me once more,
Breathing in,
Receiving.
And breathing out.

Taking a few more moments here.
With your inner child present.
And before we conclude.
Together we will affirm.
To these little inner girls,
These little inner boys.

Letting out in a child.
Fade away,
But never going away.
And with all of the softness and all of the ease.
When you're ready.
You can slowly come back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Feeling held.
