Your brain releases tiny molecules that help you feel better and more relaxed.
Have you noticed that when you smile to someone,
This person often responds with a smile as well?
You just help this person feel better!
Let's explore together how a smile makes us feel.

If you don't feel anything or something different,
It is ok.
Just tell yourself,
I feel this or I don't feel anything.
There is no right or wrong.
It is your practice,
Your feelings.
And you alone can explore how you feel.
If you wish,
You can pause this meditation and look at yourself smiling in a mirror.
If you have a buddy with you,
Smile at each other.
Take a good look.

Now,
Please take a comfortable seat.
Take one moment to notice how your body feels.
Now imagine you are a tall tree with a very high crown.
And bring a first smile from one shoulder to the other to open your chest.
Good.
Did you notice any difference in your body?
You can close your eyes or keep them open.
If open,
Simply lower your gaze.
Now imagine a smiling face in front of you.
It can be your face or somebody else.
In the power of your mind,
See how the smile has moved the mouth,
The cheeks,
The eyes,
The whole face.
At present,
Invite this smile to reach you.
Maybe you feel the corner of your own mouth or your cheeks lifting up.
See how this smile makes you feel.
Maybe you notice a certain warmth or lightness in your face.
Imagine this smile is now expanding to your whole body,
From your head to your heart to your belly to your legs to your feet.
You may even notice a certain energy or color filling you.
Once again,
Bring the smiling face in your mind.
Notice how it makes you feel,
Makes your body feel,
Your mood.
You can even smile if you want to,
Or simply keep the smile in the magic of your mind.
Feel this smile and let this feeling shower you from the top of your head to the tip of your fingers and from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
Notice how your body and mind feel.
Maybe you feel some peaceful energy or calm or yellow light around you or something else or nothing.
Now take a big breath in and give a big exhale out of your mouth.
Smile and feel the energy in your face and body.
Take this smiling energy with you throughout your day.
Please know that at any time if you need a boost,
Smile and bring the smiling energy into you.
And if you notice someone a little down,
Try and give a gentle smile to this person and see the difference.
You can even try and smile at yourself in the mirror several times a day and explore how you feel.
You can now open your eyes,
Look around you,
Go back to your day.
