Tonight we'll focus on calming your mind,
Releasing any worries and cultivating a sense of peace and relaxation through positive affirmations.
Find a comfortable position,
Preferably lying in your bed and ready to drift off into sleep.
Let your body get cozy and comfortable and begin to relax as you settle in.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.
Let's begin.
Take a few moments to connect and observe your breath.
Feel the air entering through your nose,
Filling your chest and belly and flowing gently out.
With each exhale,
Let go of the day.
Release any tension from your shoulders,
Your jaw and your forehead.
Let your body grow heavier with each breath,
Sinking into the support beneath you.
Now bring your awareness to this moment.
Whatever has happened today is now in the past.
There is nothing more to do,
No one to please and nowhere to be.
All that matters is this time for rest and renewal.
As you listen,
Allow these affirmations to flow through you.
Simply hear them,
Feel their meaning and let them guide you into a peaceful state.
I release the worries of the day.
I let go of tension and welcome peace.
My body is calm,
My mind is still and my soul is at ease.
I deserve rest.
I am safe,
Supported and surrounded by peace.

Restful sleep.

Sleep comes to me naturally and effortlessly.
