The Waxing Crescent moon comes right after the New Moon. So use this time to nurture your relationship with yourself as your intentions grow alongside the Moon. Welcome.

This is a guided meditation on finding trust during the waxing crescent moon phase.

The waxing crescent follows the new moon.

It's the sliver of light that we see on a starry night.

It is so easy to only see the dark when the light around us feels dim.

It is so easy to get caught up in our fear when hope feels out of reach.

During the waxing crescent,

We are given a chance to contemplate trust.

We can imagine we have an internal GPS system.

And this is the time that we can set our true north.

We can create our own compass.

So next time we are in the dark,

We can see ourselves out.

Take a moment to feel your seat on your cushion or your feet on the earth.

Engage a long spine that supports your head and your neck.

Gently close your eyes and feel into the support of your body.

Begin to cultivate an awareness of your breath in your belly.

Focus on lengthening your inhales and your exhales.

Let your stomach rise and fall.

Take note of the spaces between the cycles of breath.

Allow these spaces to become longer and a little bit more intentional.

Once you feel grounded,

Come back to intention.

Shine your palms up in an effort to receive.

Notice what first comes to mind when you ask yourself what it is you need.

What is your why?

Which direction do you want to be headed in?

Maybe you notice that a specific goal comes to mind.

Or maybe you feel into an emotional direction you are moving in.

Let your answers rise internally and naturally.

Give yourself the generosity of time here.

Knowing that it is okay if the answer doesn't come to you right away.

Be patient with the process.

Trust that the answers will arise when they feel ready to.

And whatever arises,

Just place in the back of your mind for safe keeping.

Now start to imagine a golden compass out in front of you.

Allow it to glow with the energy of warm golden light.

Play with the size,

Shape,

And look of it.

Allow the dial and arrow to spin around.

And when you feel ready,

Gently begin to solidify the directions in your mind.

Let north,

South,

East,

And west fall into place.

Imagine that the warm golden light that glows from the compass begins to expand.

You start to feel this energy and realize that it is asking you to place your intention within it.

Every compass requires a true north to align and direct.

This golden compass inside of you wants to merge you with your intention.

So you can learn to trust yourself as you are guided by your own true north.

So begin to imagine you are giving your intention an energy.

It begins to form a color,

A shape.

Start to watch your true north intention merge with your golden compass.

Feel settled and strong,

Knowing you can lean into trust.

Being guided by your true north means that you are always moving in the direction of your intention.

That even if you feel off center or you've been thrown for a loop,

You are moving in the direction you were meant to move in.

Each decision you make and each step you take in your journey becomes infused with the energy of your intention and your true north.

So sink into this a little bit more.

Spend a few breaths here.

Enjoy the feeling of trust washing over you.

Now release any remnants of your visualization,

Knowing that you can come back to it at any time.

Start to come back to your awareness.

Feel your seat on the earth.

Notice the space you are in.

Begin to invite mindful movement to your body.

Take a moment to connect your mind with your body and heart.

Pull your palms to a prayer to seal in your practice.
