Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,

Allow your eyes to close and let your body begin to soften.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.

Once more,

Breathing in calm and releasing any weight you've been carrying.

You are safe here,

There is nothing you need to do,

Nowhere else you need to be.

I'd like you to imagine yourself stepping into a wide,

Peaceful meadow.

The air is fresh,

Filled with the scent of grass and wildflowers.

Birdsong flows gently in the distance,

Soothing,

Familiar,

Comforting.

You notice a soft patch of grass calling you to rest.

You walk over and lie down,

Letting the earth receive you fully.

The ground beneath you is warm and steady,

Supporting every part of your body.

You are completely held.

As you rest here,

You begin to feel a gentle glow emanating from the earth beneath you.

The light rises slowly,

Like a tender embrace,

Spreading from the ground up through your body.

Slowly,

It wraps around you softly,

As if the earth itself is cradling you.

And all around you,

You sense the presence of gentle spirits of the forest.

Kind,

Protective,

Soothing.

They gather close,

Holding you in their embrace.

Reminding you that you are not alone.

The light surrounds your whole being now,

Cocooning you in warmth and peace.

Every breath you take draws this safety deeper in.

Every exhale lets go of tension,

Fear,

Or worry.

You are safe.

You are held.

You are loved.

Rest here in this embrace.

Notice the sense of ease,

The softness that comes from being held.

When you are ready,

Begin to notice any sounds and textures around you.

Feel the ground beneath you once more.

Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes and slowly bring your awareness back to the room around you.

Carry this feeling of being held with you as you move into the rest of your day.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You are held.
