Lessons and Laughter with your host,

Glenn Ambrose.

Good evening everybody,

Or whatever time of day you're listening or watching to this.

To ask Glenn anything,

Hey Glenn.

Smile,

You're on Candid Camera.

You're not in the Dominican Republic this week,

But I can't stand not having music to open the show.

There's a little hole inside of you.

Little hole.

There's no music playing.

Little hole inside.

So,

That being said,

How you doing bud?

Pretty good man.

Excellent,

Excellent.

So,

Here's the deal guys,

If you have questions,

Type it in the comments and Glenn will answer it live.

Don't feel comfortable asking publicly?

Email Glenn at Glenn Ambrose.

Email Glenn at GlennAmbaras.

Com and he will answer your question next week.

Alright,

I have one question to start off.

That's all you're allowed.

Why?

Sarah,

That's all.

You're only allowed one unless we finish that one and you're allowed another one.

Okay,

Why?

Hi Sarah.

Why?

Why?

My first question,

Why?

Why not?

You're welcome.

My second question,

How dare you?

No.

Okay,

And people on Inside Timer are already writing mean comments about me.

So,

How,

Like what is something,

While people filter in some questions,

What was something that has been coming up for you this week or in the past week with clients?

It feels like there's usually an energy.

Every time we talk and we're going to do a podcast or a bunch of podcast recordings,

There's like a theme that keeps coming up over and over again with clients and friends and yourself.

What would you say has been jumping out at you recently?

I think the theme for this week is,

It kind of feels like it's full circle,

Like all the dysfunction and frustration and anger and hate and concern and all this stuff that's been going around,

You know,

For millennia.

But,

You know,

More precisely,

The last year,

It just kind of seems like this week has really been for me and I think it's a little bit more than just me.

It's just kind of enough,

Man,

Enough.

Let's just get to the solution.

And the solution,

It seems like the solution is really,

One,

Simplifying.

So I think there's an individual and a collective and of course they both blend into each other.

But individually,

We just have to let go of whatever the hell's been scaring us and just be like,

Enough.

I mean,

If there's anything that you need to do to protect yourself,

I don't even like using that word,

Protect yourself,

But technically,

On a physical level,

Like wearing a mask or something or signing a petition for something or whatever.

If there's something on an action-based level that you can take,

You're probably aware of it by now and you can do that.

That's cool.

You know,

Whatever flips your skirt,

Doesn't matter.

Like yeah,

I said it.

So continue,

Continue.

So I mean,

Like,

It's okay,

You know,

Do whatever you think is right.

It's all right.

Like,

But I think we have to stop trying to protect ourselves emotionally from everything and one another.

I think that that's really the crux of everything.

It's like,

We have to stop thinking we have to protect ourselves from one another.

We don't.

You know,

We're just fellow human beings along for this ride.

We're actually all more united than we realize when it actually gets to something you care about.

You know,

We all want love.

We all want peace.

And when we stop arguing and fighting and protecting and being defensive and just relax a little bit,

We see that.

And you know,

I've been watching,

I've been like,

This is my down week with clients.

So I've been like this lately,

It's turned into my work on Glen week.

So I've been diving into spirituality personally.

And you know,

It's,

There is tons of people doing really good things and there is lots of evidence and there are lots of people that I know and that I don't know that are doing really good stuff.

And we know all,

We know,

Like,

I'd say we know probably 75% of what we need to know to change the entire world.

Like from a,

From a technical perspective,

We have the technology to do it.

People have already researched ways of accomplishing it.

We have it all there and there's people moving towards solution in so many areas.

And like,

I think we have to get out of the fear of where we are and start creating where we're going.

You know,

Because it's kind of like the,

So I'll expand on it a little bit,

Like with the manifesting mentality.

You know,

That there is,

Manifesting is not what everybody thinks it is.

And the law of attraction is not what everybody thinks it is.

It doesn't work the way everybody thinks it does.

However,

It is a law and it does work.

And part of,

You know,

Without getting into the inner workings of it,

There is truth to what we believe comes to fruition.

So that we do create our own destiny,

That our own situations,

Our own future.

And we're so caught up in the reality of where we are now that we're not creating anything different for the future.

And I think that that's what we need to start doing.

Start envisioning a better future.

Start leaning in towards another future.

Start Googling and searching things about people doing things to create a better future.

One of the easiest ways to do that,

No matter what level of spirituality you're at,

Is just look at,

You know,

Saving the planet.

Just start looking at things.

There is so much out there with people with good hearts that we can all be like,

You know,

I don't know.

I don't know if you should,

If you still think that we should be killing the planet,

Like,

Or that we're not killing it or something,

You might not want to listen to my podcast because you're not hearing anything that's said.

I mean,

We are,

You know,

We're destroying the earth.

We have been,

And we're not,

The gains that we're making now are literally useless.

They are,

You know,

The powers that be throwing a dog a bone to shut us up for 15 minutes.

That's all it is.

I mean,

If we're going to die,

If everybody's going to die in a hundred years,

Let's say,

You know,

We'll just throw a hypothetical number out there.

And you know,

We're destroying,

You know,

We're going to destroy the,

We're destroying the earth at a hundred miles an hour,

And we have to get to zero miles an hour or else we're going to die.

And then all of a sudden we go,

Hey,

Everybody,

We're doing 90.

We're doing 90 miles an hour.

You're welcome.

It doesn't matter.

Still going to die.

So we have to make larger changes,

You know,

It's not,

So the little ones that we're making now aren't enough,

But we have the technology and we have the capability to make large ones.

And we have the numbers.

There's,

There's more than enough people that understand that,

That we can't continue damaging the earth the way we are.

And really the numbers that I've been seeing is more like 30 years.

So not that everybody's going to die,

But that we're,

We're going to not be living in a life that we recognize anymore because of what the earth does.

So,

So it's,

You know,

We have the capability of doing these things.

We have the technology,

We have the research,

We have the people and people are walking in the direction of these solutions already.

And I think it's time for us to stop complaining and bitching and fighting and arguing and worrying.

There's so much fear and so much,

Everybody's just scared.

I'm scared and I don't get scared very often and I'm petrified and I'm,

And I'm realizing how scared I've been and how it's affected me.

And I noticed it when I started releasing it and going like,

It's time to let go of all this stuff.

Like we know,

We know how messed up it is,

But that,

That it's,

That's really not even important.

It's not important how messed up it is because we all know that we have it.

We got it.

Messed up,

Got it,

Now what?

You know,

And I think it's the now what time.

I know it is for me and which really makes me feel better because trying,

Running,

You know,

I mean,

I try to help like,

You know,

That,

That's kind of how I'm wired.

So this has been an exhausting year for me because I'm,

You know,

Trying to help and all I see is just fear and,

And hatred and anger and dysfunction.

And it's taken me over several times over this last year,

You know?

And it's so,

It's just been nice because I've finally,

Finally gotten to that point where it's like,

You know,

And of course I always dabble towards solution.

I always point towards the solution,

But it's like 75% problem,

How to look at that problem and then 25% solution.

And I think we have to,

You know,

Flip flop that.

I think,

I mean,

If,

If we have to spend 25% on the problem just to let everybody know what we're talking about,

Cool.

But like,

It doesn't have to be three quarters of the conversation.

It can just be like,

Hey,

This is what we're talking about.

And,

You know,

This is solution and just anchoring into that.

So I think that that's the energy where I know that's the energy that I've been going this week.

And I,

It just feels like it's collective.

It feels like we're,

We're finally there.

We're maybe we had to get the election behind us or something.

I don't know,

But it feels like we've experienced enough where like people are going to be ready to start just,

Yup.

It's all cray cray,

Man.

What's the solution?

You know,

Let's,

How can I put just 5% of my energy a week or a month towards something that will make something better on some level some way,

Cause that's all I have to spare.

Okay,

Cool.

That's enough.

Like we can do it with that.

If everybody took like,

If everybody took one hour a week,

Even if everybody took or just half the people on the planet took one hour a week to do something,

You know,

It would actually make a gigantic impact.

Cause that would be that,

You know,

How many hours of energy that would be tore.

That would be like a tidal wave,

You know?

So that's my overview.

All right.

So Monica Alonzo says,

Hi.

Hi,

Monica.

Monica from California.

We have another question here.

How do I raise my energy?

I felt lethargic about a lot of things for a few months now and I can't seem to get myself out of this funk,

Even with things I used to enjoy.

Well,

I mean,

This,

This might sound silly,

But the most common problem is that it's because you need to rest.

Like,

You know,

Like it's,

It's surprising how many,

It's not surprising.

It's amazing how many people I know that like,

And I mean,

I,

I have to still consciously do this.

But I've gotten pretty good at it.

It's how many people just don't relax.

They don't get enough sleep,

You know?

And it's,

Well,

No,

You know,

Like I tell people I get eight and a half hours sleep at night and they're like,

Oh my God.

Oh my God.

That's amazing.

It's like,

No,

That's like normal.

That's I know not everybody is going to get that.

And I know not everybody even needs it dependent on their body.

But like a lot of people,

They go to meditate and they fall asleep.

Why?

Because you need sleep.

That's why.

So when you finally relax enough to where you can't,

You know,

Where your body just can't keep you awake anymore,

You doze off.

That's because you need more sleep.

You know,

We're running on nervous energy all the time and it keeps us awake.

So you know,

The first thing is,

You know,

Take care of yourself,

You know,

Physically eat well,

Excuse me,

And,

And,

You know,

Get some sleep.

And then the other thing is you know,

Getting the energy.

Sometimes you just got to kick yourself in the ass.

You got to,

You know,

You can't really think yourself into better acting.

You have to act yourself into better thinking.

So go listen to that podcast.

But you know,

You just got to,

You got to,

You got to go.

Like I don't feel like,

I don't feel like if you just keep caving into that,

Then you'll never feel like it.

You know,

You just got to push and go do sometimes.

And remember the,

I think the biggest thing,

Well,

Not the biggest thing,

Just the other piece is remember your why,

Like,

Why are you doing it?

It sounds,

You know,

A lot of times we don't have any energy to do something because we don't give a crap about what we're doing.

You know,

Like,

You know,

We're not,

Oh,

I have to,

I have to go grow grocery shop and I don't want to.

Yeah,

No,

Like,

Probably nobody wants to like,

But do you,

Do you,

Would you like to feed your family?

Or would you like them to die?

Oh,

Well,

If you put it that way,

Then yeah,

I would,

I would like to feed my family.

Okay.

And I'm naked about that instead of another thing to do,

You know,

We always forget the why,

It's just,

We have this list of things.

I have to do this.

I have to do this.

I have to do this.

And it's just,

I'll do it.

Hopefully get a sense of accomplishment for five seconds and then I'll do the next thing and then the next thing.

And that's how we live our life.

And then we wonder why we don't have any energy.

Like because everything is meaningless.

That's why,

You know,

There's no meaning to anything you're doing.

It's except to accomplish it so you can do the next thing.

So there's no fulfillment in doing any of it.

There's no connection to the why that you're doing it.

You're just cashing in your time,

You know,

So be conscious of what you're doing and why you're doing it.

And understand that you can be happy grocery shopping.

You literally can.

You know,

If you're in the present moment and you're connected to the why of why you're doing it and you're like,

Okay,

Wait a minute,

Let me get this straight.

So I get to just bring good food in for my family for an entire week period.

And all I have to do is get off my ass and spend two hours to drive to the grocery store,

Push a cart around,

Put whatever I want in the entire world into my car and then check out and then drive home.

Like that's all I have to do.

I don't have to like go hunting a wild boar and put my life in my hands.

I don't have to scavenge for miles to see if I can just squander enough nuts to get us through the freaking winter.

Like I just have to push a grocery cart around a few aisles.

You know,

What a miracle.

We have some pretty darn good conveniences here and we take them for granted.

So it's,

You know,

Just remember your why that should help.

Yeah.

It's kind of amazing when you don't feel like doing something and then you do it anyway.

If you can do it like the right way while you're doing it,

It's kind of amazing how much it improves your mood.

We recorded a bunch of podcasts on Monday and I told you that I had over the weekend just slept weird and then carried a bunch of heavy stuff and I hurt my lower back.

And it's still been in pain and I've been,

You know,

Stretching and stuff.

But today I like put my yoga mat out and I was like,

I'm going to try to get on the floor and do a bunch of stretches.

And I did not want to do it and I had no energy to do it and it hurt a lot.

But I spent like an hour on the floor doing all stretches that I could think of.

And then it hurt a lot and I didn't want to do it.

And then I was like,

I forgot that I have to get back up after this.

And like my back hurt to the point where it was before my back hurt to the point where it was like,

I do hurt to walk up stairs.

I don't know why I thought I was going to be able to get up off of the floor from this position like this.

And I did and when I did,

I like stood up straight for the first time all week,

Like completely fine.

It was like,

Everything's good.

Like you know,

It's not grabbing,

It went back to hurting for a little bit,

But putting in the energy that I didn't have before gave me the energy that I needed,

Right.

That I was missing before doing it.

Yeah,

And that's a good example because I think we have to remember it's like,

We think of everything unconsciously.

So like if we just slow down and look at what we're talking about,

I don't have the energy to go do stuff,

Right?

Okay,

So like where does energy come from?

You know,

And I mean,

Of course,

The first thing I touched on was getting enough sleep and food,

Of course,

You know,

Because those are the obvious reasons where energy comes from.

But if we go deeper,

Like,

You know,

Where does our energy come from?

It's life force energy that flows through us.

It's our chi.

So,

You know,

This is why,

You know,

Non movement equals depression.

Because like what happens is if we stop moving,

Then all of a sudden our life force closes off.

Our portal for life force energy to flow through us just starts closing and less life force flows through us.

We need to be interacting with our life to have a steady flow of life force flowing through us.

And when we're sitting around not doing anything or not looking at things properly that we are doing or not enjoying our lives or,

You know,

Hating our job but not doing anything to fix it.

When we're living life in a non productive,

Exciting way,

And I'm not saying we all have to run around clicking our heels going to work every day,

But we have to interact with our lives and consistently take steps to enhance our lives,

You know,

And to do more of what we like and,

You know,

Live consciously.

So when we do that,

That's what life force energy flows through,

You know.

I always,

When I think of this,

I always think of,

Because everybody thinks life force energy slows down as you get older,

Which to some degree it does.

But like the people who,

There's always exceptions to the rule.

So if you look at somebody that's,

You know,

90 years old and going to go and actually get their bachelor's degree that they never got,

That they always wanted,

And somebody that's going to go skydiving at 88 and somebody like,

If you look at these old people that do these amazing things at older ages and look at their lives,

Like you don't even have to look at their life.

Just look at like 30 seconds of them while they're awake and you'll see a difference between them and most other people their age.

And the difference is that they move faster,

They're quicker,

They're interacting with life,

They're still doing things,

They haven't given up and said,

Okay,

Well,

All my productive years are over,

You know,

Like they're still doing stuff to feed their soul,

To keep that life force flowing through them.

And their energy is usually off the charts,

You know,

Those are the old people that are,

Like you don't see some old person sitting there going,

Yeah,

Well,

I'm going to go,

I'm going to go skydiving next week.

I hope,

I hope my son can pick me up and get me there.

That's not what it looks like.

The dude that's going to go skydiving in his 80s or 90s is like,

Yeah,

I'm going skydiving next week.

Like he's got,

He's animated,

He talks fast,

He's got energy,

Like that's life force,

You know.

So we have to,

You know,

To keep that life force flowing through us,

We have to interact with life and we have to have purpose,

You know.

So if we have that purpose,

That really keeps that portal of life force flowing and a nice steady flow through.

Lisa's laughing at me because I'm,

Because I'm sure Lisa's probably not the only one laughing at me.

What if you don't know your why or your purpose?

I think we know a lot more than we think.

Like,

I mean,

I understand people not knowing their purpose,

But your why,

I think you kind of can figure out.

You know.

Yep.

In,

It's funny,

In acting school,

They made us do this for,

It was called objectives,

Right?

And for every scene,

No matter what the scene was,

No matter how silly or dramatic or whatever the scene was,

You know,

It could literally be like your character was walking into a giant scene and all you said was like,

Hi,

Do you have any bananas?

And they were like,

What's your objective for this scene?

Like you have to write like a paragraph about what your character wants in this scene.

And so I,

It was a weird way that I never thought about anything before.

And then when I taught acting later,

I related to people going,

You've done that and you've acted your entire life because there's always a why,

Right?

You always have a why for whatever it is that you are doing.

You always want something.

You're always,

You know,

Wanting something.

There's a reason why you're doing something.

There's a reason why you're doing whatever you're doing.

So just stop and think about it for a second.

Right?

Exactly.

Yeah,

That's it.

We never,

We never do.

No,

And that's,

You know,

Like you can use a good example,

A good practice.

You know,

I learned this many years ago with,

With like some manifesting thing or something.

And it was,

You know,

Just go,

When you go through your bills,

When you're paying your bills before you pay them,

Stop and look at what,

Why are you paying that bill?

You know,

We think,

Oh,

I have to pay my bills.

Like somebody is doing it to us.

Like we're a victim of some company or something like,

You know,

So the energy is horrible and it's like,

Nobody's making you pay your electric bill.

Just don't have electricity.

It's cool.

You know,

If that's what you want.

So don't pay your electric.

Oh yeah.

Well,

What do you get for the money that you're giving?

You know,

Like,

Oh,

Well I get electricity and then I get wifi and that's how I work or you know,

That it's,

That's my source of information or I like streaming spiritual TV shows.

You know,

Whatever it is,

But know your why,

And it's really not that difficult.

Why do you go grocery shopping to feed your family or yourself?

You know,

Why do you pay your electric bill?

We just said,

Why do you have a telephone to communicate?

Why do you have a house payment?

Because you want a roof over your head.

You know,

It's really not that complicated.

You know,

Why do you go to work every day?

Because it pays for all that stuff.

Oh,

I have to go to work.

No,

You don't.

No,

You don't.

You do not have to go to work tomorrow.

Nobody does.

Nobody has to go to work tomorrow.

You just have to decide to forfeit everything that it pays for.

That's the deal.

You know,

Nobody's making you go to work.

So when you're going to work,

Remember why you're going to work.

Oh,

Like,

Yeah,

Because it puts a roof over my head and I can actually eat and drive a car.

Oh,

Yeah.

Yeah,

That's why.

All of a sudden,

You're not a victim of your job so much because you remember your why.

You know,

So I think that that's a foundational thing.

And then,

You know,

Like touching on purpose for those who don't know their purpose,

Like what brings you joy?

What makes you happy?

What did you like to do when you were a kid?

What you know,

Like,

We well,

Most people are looking for when they say I don't know my purpose.

They want somebody to come in and say,

Okay,

Well,

Hi,

Your purpose is to just talk to people,

You know,

I'll use my job to talk to people,

Give them some advice about how to better their lives from home.

And you're a life coach.

So,

You know,

Everybody on the outside just goes,

Oh,

I want to be a life coach is not neat.

That's looks so simple and wonderful.

And you get to help people.

So it's fulfilling and all this stuff.

So I want that.

That's why I use it for an example.

What people,

You know,

People,

People like stuff like that stuff that makes them feel good about themselves.

They go,

Oh,

I think I want that,

You know,

It's easier to connect.

It's easier to think you want it right.

And you know,

Some people should be life coaches and some shouldn't.

But but lots of people want to help others.

It's just in us.

So that's why I use it for an example.

So you go,

Okay,

This is how you do it.

And like,

I'll just,

You know,

You just take a two week course,

And you get all your information,

And then you'll quit your job.

And you'll have all the clients that your life will be wonderful from this point forward.

So that's,

You know,

And that's what people want.

They don't want to work for it.

They don't want to walk in the direction of it.

They don't want to dabble with it before they become it.

You know,

So this is that's what we have to keep in mind when you're looking for your purpose and you just find stuff that you enjoy.

Start doing it on the side.

If you like roller skating,

Then go roller skating.

I don't know,

I doubt it's going to lead to being a professional roller skater.

But at least you're doing something that you enjoy.

And maybe you'll meet somebody there that like the universe works through people and situations,

But we have to be out there following our joy and following our bliss.

Maybe all of a sudden,

You're you start skating every week and you get to know the owner and the owner goes,

Oh,

My God,

I have to sell the place and you go,

Oh,

My God,

Like,

I wonder if I could actually swing this.

I wonder if I could get a loan and you end up buying the damn skating rink.

Like,

You never know.

But follow your joy,

Follow your bliss.

And part of it is just because you'll actually start doing things in life that you actually enjoy.

So that's its own,

You know,

Feedback.

And then if you follow it,

You actually can find different avenues where it might turn into a career or you're just happier and then you start looking elsewhere.

Like it's just we have to bring joy into our life that brings energy,

You know,

And then we can follow it and see where it takes us.

But we're not going to have the whole road map mapped out before we even take the first step.

So,

Yeah,

Dabbling.

Lisa says,

I miss you,

My friend.

Yeah,

That she was my Rhode Island family.

Little little little rude.

I am here.

I'm talking to you.

Little,

Little rude.

I'm kidding.

I'm my Rhode Island family.

I had a big Rhode Island family.

I was there for 14 years.

So but I haven't been there for two and a half.

All right,

I'll come back.

You didn't even notice that I left.

I was trying to be dramatic.

Oh,

I didn't know what you were doing.

Monica,

Maybe you had to sneeze.

I'll be back in a minute.

Monica had a question.

Speaking of purpose,

This trips me out.

So many people seek help.

So I have a question about cults because of shows I've been watching on TV.

Monica,

I might know what shows you're talking about.

At what point do you draw the line between spirituality and being taken advantage of?

What do you think?

I don't think you have to draw a line.

I don't think like spirituality,

You don't get taken advantage of when you're spiritual.

Like you just don't because it's completely different energy.

That's like saying,

Where do I draw a line between anger and love?

It's like,

Well,

It's completely different.

I don't know.

What feels like love,

Enjoy that.

When it feels like anger,

Don't.

But how do you,

So like there's a show,

Right?

I don't know if it's the show that she's talking about,

But there's a show on HBO right now where they're following this cult,

This organization that on the front of it,

Right?

When you watch the first couple of episodes and the guy who's the leader,

The cult of personality,

When he's talking about things,

He says a lot of stuff that I'm like,

I mean,

Like the original stuff that he's saying,

Like when you're coming to the meetings and whatever,

And you're buying into the stuff,

He says a lot of stuff that I'm like,

That has some truth to it.

That clearly makes these people feel good.

You know what I mean?

So there's this thing where people are looking for answers and then they get somebody who has something genuine on the outside.

And then by the time they get taken advantage of,

They don't realize that they're being taken advantage of anymore.

That's because their eyes are closed.

So you have to keep your eyes open.

I mean,

I understand this and this is one of the big learning curves of spirituality.

I've been saying this for years.

We have this inner knowingness that we're supposed to be good people,

But we don't know what that looks like.

We don't know how to actually do it.

So we think laying down and letting people walk all over us is being a good person.

It's not.

We think that allowing people to live dysfunctionally or to treat us poorly,

That means we have a big heart and we're kind.

No,

It doesn't.

It means you're weak.

That's what it means.

And you need to get stronger because love is strong.

Spirituality is strong.

It's firm.

That's the whole point of spirituality.

Like I tell people,

When you're on your spiritual journey,

Everybody is kind of in the beginning,

People are looking for like this blissful state,

This like,

Oh,

Everything's wonderful.

And sometimes you enter those spaces where you're just so filled with love that it's just like high and oh my God,

It's wonderful.

That's not it.

That's temporary.

It's fleeting and it's not real.

That's just like some collective energy that we tap into momentarily.

Spirituality is deep.

It's very strong and deep.

It's this knowingness,

It's stability.

It's knowing that we are not going to be taken advantage of.

It's knowing that we are cared for and love to be on measure.

It's knowing that things are going to be okay.

It's knowing that our eyes are open.

It's this deep knowingness,

You know,

And that is solid and firm and that's what we can anchor into.

So you know,

When like if question everything,

Man,

Question everything,

Don't believe anything because somebody says it.

And I don't give a crap who it is.

I don't care if it's the Pope,

Gandhi comes back from the grave.

I don't give a crap who it is.

Jesus Christ himself steps foot and don't believe anything that anybody has ever said ever,

Ever.

You know,

I mean this is like the foundation of Buddhism.

You know,

You should not be believing anything that anybody says.

Try it.

This is one of the reasons why I fell in love with spirituality in the beginning because like I thought,

I thought spirituality was woo woo and you know,

The rest of the rest of your life was like,

You know,

Like logic and then woo woo spirituality.

And once I understood spirituality,

I was like,

Oh no,

Like logic,

The way that people live their lives and what they call logic and science is a bunch of crap.

And it doesn't hold water.

And if you really dive into it,

It doesn't make any sense.

Spirituality actually does make sense.

And it does hold water in every situation,

Always all the time duplicatable in every situation.

And I'm like,

Nice.

So yeah,

Question absolutely everything and never be somebody's like,

I've,

I've met some pretty,

I've met some people that fricking impress me,

Man.

Like with their spiritual knowledge,

I've had my mind blown by people,

But never have I ever given my autonomy over to them.

You know,

Our,

We are supposed to be autonomous.

We are supposed to be sovereign.

We are responsible for our own space.

So like if Eckhart Tolle,

And this has happened,

Listening to his stuff,

Michael Bernard Beckwith,

Deepak Chopra,

If any of them say something that doesn't resonate with me inside,

I call bullshit.

Just for the moment.

Now I don't run up and down and say they're wrong and start emailing them and trying to get in touch with them and attack them.

But I go,

That does not click with me in here,

Not appear,

See what clicks with you inside here.

When people are speaking truth,

You will feel it in your body.

You'll know it to be true in your body.

So pay attention to that and use that as your guidance system,

Because that will never steer you wrong.

And I tell my clients is if I ever say anything that doesn't resonate in your body,

Dismiss it.

I don't care how much you want.

I want you to believe it.

Excess it because it's not your truth or it's not your truth at that particular moment.

Because what happens is a lot of times it's just not useful for us at that particular time.

It's not where we are.

So it just doesn't resonate with us because it really would be no of no use if we were to implement it right then.

So it just doesn't seem to make sense to us right now.

So then you should don't try to make sense of it.

If it doesn't resonate with you,

It doesn't seem like it makes sense.

I mean,

Sure,

You can ask a few questions if you're curious.

But other than that,

After a couple of questions,

If it doesn't resonate,

It's not your truth.

We all have different paths.

And just because something's my truth doesn't mean it's somebody else's truth.

So know that your path is yours and yours alone.

And don't let anybody talk you into anything.

So like what like I did it with Tolle,

You know,

Something came,

I said,

I know there's no way this is true.

And I just pushed it aside and kept listening to the other stuff.

And I used whatever did resonate with me.

Then a year later,

I was listening to his stuff again.

And I went,

Oh,

My God,

He was that was that was true.

That was true.

I just wasn't at a spiritual place where I could even comprehend it at that stage yet.

So you know,

So that's okay.

But just wasn't my truth then,

Then a year later,

I came back and I was in a different spiritual place.

And then it became part of my truth because I was ready and capable of comprehending it.

But it doesn't matter like that,

You know,

That little piece,

I just said that for for clarification purposes.

It doesn't matter if it's not your truth ever,

Or if it's not your truth right now,

Doesn't matter just means it's not your truth.

So if something doesn't resonate with you,

Just slide it to the side and only do what resonates with you.

You know,

And you'll never get steered wrong that way.

It's I tell a lot of my clients,

I'm going to try to help you on your path,

Because the only thing I know about your path is that it ain't my path.

And if I teach you my path,

Then I in some time in the future,

You're going to wake up and go,

Wait a minute,

This is Glenn's path.

It's not my path.

And then you're gonna have to start over and figure out where the heck your path is.

And I don't want that for anybody.

So you know,

I teach my clients that if it's not resonating with you,

Then don't do it.

I'll support you around what you don't do.

Yeah,

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So that 20 minute ramp was summed up by question everything.

Absolutely.

All right.

Well,

That's it for this episode.
