I want you to start by just taking a deep breath in and let it out.
Close your eyes and free your mind as you take another breath in and let it out.
Continue to focus on just the breath.
And as you pay attention to the breath,
Also notice other senses,
Sounds,
Sensations in your body.
You are the recipient of experiences that are all being born outside of your control.
Notice any sounds that are present around you and how they seem to appear and vanish on their own without you doing anything.
Realize you are the conscious space in which short-lived sensations appear and subside.

The moment you notice you're lost in thought,
Look at the thought.
Where,
Within your space of consciousness,
Does it sit?
