Are you always on the go and find it hard to be still? Stillness can bring joy and peace into your life and can take you out of your head and into your heart. Being still can be challenging, but when we practice stillness, day after day and moments or minutes at a time, the world opens up to you. You can see the beauty of this world and build mindfulness into your life. Daily practice is the key. So take 7 minutes of your day to practice stillness, be kind to yourself and smile and breathe.

Be still my friend.

Can you be still?

Can you hold your body in one place?

Can you hold your mind right here,

Right now?

Can you practice stillness?

Can you master stillness?

What can stillness bring you?

Stillness can bring joy and peace into your life.

It can take you out of your head and into your heart.

The simple act of being still breathing,

Smiling,

And connecting to the infinite can set your day in a harmonious direction.

How do I know?

I practice.

I am far from a master.

In fact,

I have an incredibly difficult time sitting still.

I have to work at being still mindfully throughout the day.

Daily practice is the key.

It's the key to everything.

By practicing stillness,

We welcome peace,

Joy,

And harmony into our lives,

One moment at a time.

You too can be still.

You too can be a master of yourself in this moment.

Being in the here and now with your body and your breath,

One with the all.

So,

Sit still now and be with me.

Be still.

Breathe in and notice your breath.

Breathe out and notice your breath.

Smile.

This time is for you.

Breathe in and notice your breath.

Breathe out and notice your breath.

Smile all the way to your feet.

If your mind tries to take a walk,

Say,

Be still my friend.

Be kind to yourself.

Feel the joy in this space.

Feel the joy vibrating from within the core of your being.

Singing with the rest of the world around you.

Breathe in harmony.

Breathe out harmony.

Smile.

Feel the joy warm you from the tips of your toes to the top of your head and into the universe.

Smile and breathe.

Smile and breathe.

Smile and breathe.

Smile and breathe.

Smile and breathe.

Throughout the day,

Whatever the day may bring you,

Remember to smile and breathe.

Be in that moment and be a note of harmony,

Peace and joy in the world around you.
