Help me to abandon my thinking mind.

To love and delight in all that is dear,

In all that is God.

Please,

Saint Teresa,

Make Jesus first in my life,

So that I may obey his word and truth.

See him in all things,

To love him more each day.

I long to trust in these times of uncertainty,

And I need your intercession,

Saint Teresa.

Bring grace from my shame.

Give me faith.

Banish my doubt.

Renew and inspire hope that has escaped from my grasp.

Nourish my wounded body and soul.

Release my guilt and let go to Jesus' love and will for me.

Saint Teresa,

Give me your courage and burning desire.

Be with me in this hour and through the night.

Gather me.

Set free worry and pain.

Remind me of Jesus' power and love.

Help me to be faithful,

Confident in the mercy of Jesus,

So that I want nothing more than to burn with abandoned love for our great God.

Let my heart be open to the never-ending and eternal grace that comes in loving our God,

Our Lord.

Let his presence settle into my bones and allow my soul the freedom to sing,
