These are statements we say to remind ourselves of our strengths and to stay positive,
Even when things are hard.
But before we begin,
I need you to go and get your journal.
Place it next to you,
Ready for after our meditation.
Once you have your journal,
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
You can close your eyes if you want,
Or keep them open.
Whatever feels best for you.
Let's begin.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through your nose.
And slowly breathe out through your mouth.
Now,
Think about these words.
I believe in myself.
Let's say it together.
I believe in myself.
Believing in yourself is like having a superpower.
It helps you keep trying,
Even when things are tough.
Let's say it one more time.

You've got what it takes to succeed,
No matter what.
Now,
Let's take another deep breath in.
And out.
Repeat these words after me.

Let's say it together.

You have the strength and ability to handle challenges and learn from them.
You're stronger than you know.
Let's say it one more time.
I am capable and strong.
You are growing and getting better every day.
Now,
Let's focus on kindness.
Take a deep breath in.
And let it out.
Now,
Repeat these words to yourself.

Kindness starts with you.
When you're kind to yourself,
You feel happier.
And when you're kind to others,

You can write or draw whatever feels best for you.
This is your time to reflect on the affirmations and how they make you feel.

Will look at it unless you want them to.
You can keep it safe and hidden if that makes you feel more comfortable.
