Hello,
My name is George Collansas and thank you for sitting with me on Insight Timer.
And today,
I'm going to read you a poem for anxiety and then walk you through a little visualization exercise that will help you trust yourself in the unknown because we hold in our short,
Shallow breaths the stagnant memories of the past.
As a result,
We're unable to welcome in new opportunities.
This poem will allow you to trust yourself in the unknown.
You watch the world change shape in front of your eyes.
What you once knew morphs into something that flies.
You try to run after this thing changing shape.
You shake in fear as you watch your past escape.
A cold burst of air calls you to silence.
Do not fear stillness.
It is often your guidance.
You hear the whispers off in the distance,
Gently calling your name.
Life catches you with resistance.
Trapped between the future and your past,
The tension you faced is what you have asked.
Now is the time to explore what you very much had a part in creating.
Listen to my words help you morph into something greater that is waiting.
With your breath as your companion to provide you with space,
Let your walls come down and see the changes taking place.
Allow your heart to open up to all that you fear.
Take a deep breath.
Feel how supported you are in the unknown as your future becomes clear.
When your life is morphing,
Remember this.
You cannot see the gift in what you resist.
When life changes unexpectedly.
We hold on to everything we can for a sense of control.
But the longer we hold on,
The longer we resist the new life that is trying to unfold.
In your short shallow breaths,
You are trapped somewhere between the past and future,
Far from the present.
As a result,
You are unable to welcome in new opportunities.
But if you can learn to see the gifts in what you resist,
You can watch the world morph into something magical.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths with me.
Place your hand on your heart,
On your stomach,
And feel the power of your breath.
Now that you are grounded,
Feel that your breath and your heart become the creator of your life and everything you need will align with what you desire.
Keep breathing.
The truth is,
No matter what you are experiencing,
Uncertainty is everywhere.
There is no need to pretend to hold on when life is constantly changing.
Take a deep breath and breathe into your heart center.
Exhale the love you have for yourself and the world.
Feel the power of your breath,
Word,
And interactions as you form something new and allow yourself to walk into the places that you fear.
The power of your breath,
The power of your choice in the unknown,
It's a beautiful thing when you learn to embrace change.
Let your breath be your guide as you choose to step into love and abundance.
This moment right now can become everything you have desperately wanted to say.
Let this moment become everything you have been wanting to let go of.
Take a deep breath and surrender into the unknown.
Allow your breath to shine in the light of the areas that feel dark and suffocated.
Place both hands on your heart and take a moment to say to yourself,
I am worthy.
I am love.
I am whole.
Feel it.
Take another breath in and say it again.
I am worthy.
I am love.
I am whole.
And let it all go.
Feel your heart center calling you into the unknown.
Calling you to show your gift to the world.
Calling you to embrace change.
Breathe deeply and dance with the fear of the unknown as you watch the world change shape,
Grounded with love,
Courage,
Strength,
And curiosity.
Feel how your breath supports you and carries you down roads you're unsure of.
Feel the excitement of the new life begin as you develop a sense of trust for yourself and the unknown.
Take this moment to breathe deeply into everything that makes your heart sing.
When in doubt,
Breathe deep because your heart will always be with you.
It hasn't left you.
This is your life.
You don't have to rush and you can always come back to your breath to restart the moment to remind you that you're worthy of everything that you desire.
Great work today.
Thank you for taking time to sit with me on Inside Timer and allow me to share my words with you and to hopefully help you learn to trust yourself in the unknown.
Thank you.
