Ceremony
In this musical meditation, Dave Hoover and I invite you to a ceremony in the high desert of New Mexico. Here, in the Southwest, in the Sandia mountains, among the spirits of the Pueblo, allow yourselves to enter a peaceful trance in this a calm, contented and rhythmic meditation. It begins with a solo, wood, Lakota flute, which is then harmonically surrounded by the humming sounds of the mountains, the desert, the wind and plants. The piano enters, forming the beat until everything is in tempo together. It ends with a return to the wood flute playing the final notes of a ceremonious melody. We made this music in honor of ceremonies worldwide. Dave and my intention was to take you to a ceremony that brings you peace and offers cathartic wisdom. *An extra cool note is that Dave handcrafted the Lakota flute he plays in this piece.
