Hi and welcome.
This is a short pause to check in and reconnect with what you need right now.
So let's begin together,
Finding a comfortable,
Supported position,
Either sitting,
Standing or lying down.
Whatever suits you in this moment.
Noticing how your body feels,
Resting against the surface beneath you.
Softening,
Feeling supported and held.
Taking a moment for a brief three-point check-in.
First with the body,
Noticing any areas of ease or tension.
Moving onto the mind,
Noticing the thoughts moving through without needing to change or fix them.
Simply letting them be.
And the emotions,
Noticing whatever is arising.
And letting that be here too.
Allowing your attention to settle on your breath.
Or where your feet meet the floor.
Whichever feels most grinding for you.
Taking an inhale.
And a soft sigh out.
If it feels right for you,
Placing a supportive hand somewhere on your body.
Perhaps your chest.
Your belly or your thighs.
Wherever feels comfortable for you.
Taking another breath in.
And exhale releasing whatever you're holding on to.
By staying in this space.
Let's ask the question.
What do I need?
What do I need?
In this body,
In this breath,
In this moment.
What do I need?
Not what have I got to do or what do I need to get done.
What do I need as a being on this earth?
Just as I am right now in this moment.
What do I need?
Taking a few moments now to drop the question in.
And listening to any replies which arise,
However big or small they may be.
I will leave you with that for a few moments.
What do I need?
As you gradually come back to the sound of my voice.
Take a gentle breath in.
And breath out.
Taking a moment to come back into the space around you.
You can slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Or move your body in any way which feels supportive for you.
Taking a moment to appreciate this pause you have taken for yourself.
You can come back to this pause at any time,
Any day,
Anywhere.
Sometimes we just need to ask the question and create the space to listen.
Thank you for joining me and take care.
