Making yourself comfortable wherever you are,
Whether it's sitting,
Standing or lying down.
Noticing the breath.
Is it long or short?
Is the breath deep or shallow?
Noticing the breath just as it is.
Bringing this close attention to the breath.
Notice it flowing in and notice the breath flowing out from the body.
Each breath in bringing in new energy,
Bringing in softness,
Kindness.
Each breath going out can be like a letting go,
A releasing.
Not needing to force it,
Simply watching the flow and maybe you can hear the flow of the little stream.
The water flowing over the rocks and then returning again to the flow of your breath.
Noticing if it's changed,
Simply observing the breath flowing in and flowing out.
Continuing to do this throughout your day,
Being with your breath as it is and at times opening up,
Expanding your awareness out to what's around you.
Finishing now with a few more mindful,
Slower,
Deeper breaths and feeling free to stretch your body a little as you continue with your day.
