Good morning,
This is Candice with Mythology and I am honored to guide you today.
This morning our theme is Community,
The quiet truth that we are shaped,
Held and softened by the people we walk beside.
Community isn't just circles around you,
It is the way your heart allows itself to be seen,
To be supported,
To belong.
Today we explore connection as a living,
Breathing presence inside you.
A place where you can meet others without losing yourself and let yourself be met in return.
So settle into a comfortable seat,
Feel the ground supporting you and stand slightly upright.
Let your hand rest where they naturally fall and let your breath move in and let it move out.
There is nothing to change,
Simply arrive.
Notice how you feel this morning,
What emotion greets you first,
What thoughts sits closest to your awareness,
What sensation speaks through your body.
Can you feel warmth,
Fatigue,
A need for privacy,
A longing for connection?
There is no right or wrong way to arrive,
Just an honest moment with yourself.
This is where I am today and let that be enough.
And now take a slow inhale and let your shoulders soften as you exhale.
Let your face relax and let your breath settle into its natural rhythm.
Feel a gentle widening inside your chest,
Space to breathe,
Space to relate,
To receive others without losing yourself.
This is where connection begins,
With the space you create within.
And before we look upward,
Reflect on the way you naturally connect.
How do you approach others?
With warmth?
Do you take time to observe first?
Are you opening easily?
Do you protect your heart until it feels safe?
So let yourself feel curiosity towards the way you relate.
Not judgment,
Simply curiosity to understand.
Imagine yourself entering a vibrant garden.
This garden represents the communities you belong to,
Your relationships,
Your connections.
Notice the trees,
The flowers,
The small plants.
See how each one is different,
Each one offering something.
Some plants flourish in sunlight and some thrives only in shade.
Some stand tall and offer shelters while others grow low and delicate,
Enriching the soil.
And now you may imagine the moving from flowers to flowers,
Exchanging,
Creating fruits that no single plant could create on its own.
These connections are a community.
Life multiplies in the presence of others.
Even the strongest tree cannot bear fruit without a pollinator.
Even the heartiest plant benefits from the shade of another.
Everything grows because everything gives and receives.
So walk through this garden and notice which relationships in your current life nourish you.
And which one drain you?
Which ones are waiting for more attention?
Which one are asking you to step back?
Notice yourself in that garden.
What are you like in relationship to the other elements surrounding you?
Do you give shade?
Do you connect with others?
Do you offer pollination?
Are you hiding under the shade,
Afraid to receive?
Just notice how you are interacting with the environment.
And now let yourself there in this garden grow into a new version of you that allows you to feel more authentic and more connected being part of this garden,
Being part of this community.
Who do you have to turn into in order to let yourself grow into your full potential?
Let the garden speak to you.
And now bring your awareness gently back into your body.
And you may want to ask yourself,
Who are the people I want to build with?
Who feels aligned with the world I believe in?
Who brings out my authentic self?
Who supports my growth without pressure or expectation?
What environment allow me to become more of who I am?
And also,
How do I show up in my garden?
Do I listen?
Do I uplift?
Do I communicate with clarity and care?
Do I allow relationships to be two ways,
Not just giving or not just receiving,
But exchanging life like roots and soil?
Let the insights rise without forcing anything.
And now you may take a deep breath in and a gentle exhale.
As you are coming back into your body,
And bring back your awareness to your fingers and toes.
Feel a gentle movement now in your body and feel the space around you grow clearer.
And as you step into your day,
Take one reflection with you.
How can I connect more authentically today?
Connection is not built in grand moments,
But in subtle ones.
And this is your morning,
Your relationship,
Your community,
Your way of moving through the world.
Grounded,
Open,
And deeply human.
