Good evening,
This is Luke,
The Breath Architect.
Tonight we come back to the theme of growth,
The kind that lives quietly inside you.
In your body,
Your choices,
Your reactions,
And the way you moved through this day.
As you settle,
I want to ask you,
Where did you grow today,
Even if it's just a little?
Maybe you challenged yourself physically,
You pushed,
You stretched,
You showed up with effort.
Maybe you grew emotionally,
You stayed present when it was uncomfortable,
You paused before reacting.
A tiny shift that only you could feel.
Growth rarely announces itself,
It's often a tiny whisper.
It reveals itself only when you finally get quiet,
Like now.
So I want to ask you,
What strengthened you today?
What stretched you?
Let's begin our practice.
Find a comfortable seat,
Feet grounded,
Spine long but relaxed,
Hands resting gently on your lap.
And I invite you to take a slow inhale through your nose,
And a nice long easy exhale through the mouth.
And again,
Inhale and feel space open across your chest.
Exhale and let the weight of the day soften from your shoulders.
This evening,
We will shift towards calming,
Processing,
And integrating.
We'll do that through the 4-7-8 breathing pattern.
A simple sequence that helps down-regulate your nervous system and prepare your body for deep rest.
Here's how it works.
You'll inhale softly through the nose for a count of four,
Hold the breath gently,
For a count of seven,
And exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of eight.
There is no force,
No strain.
Allow your gaze to soften,
And let your eyes gently close.
And on my count,
In three,
Two,
One,
And inhale through your nose for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold for seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And out for eight,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And in two,
Three,
Four,
And hold six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And out seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
In,
Hold,
And again,
In,
Hold.
You can follow the breath pacer in the background.
Rest.
Let go.
Breathe in and receive.
Pause for a moment,
And release.
Inhale,
Open your eyes.
In this,
And hold,
And exhale ease.
Soft in,
Hold in stillness.
Long out.
Receive the breath.
Rest in the pause.
Let it go slowly.
Open gently to the breath.
Stay with the stillness.
Soften everything you're holding.
Invite in clarity and calm.
Allow the body to absorb what matters.
Let the tension melt away.
A few more cycles left.
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm now.
No effort,
No structure,
Just easy soft breathing.
Notice how your body feels.
Maybe it's a little quieter,
A little lighter.
You've taken in what nourishes you today,
And you've released what doesn't need to follow you into the night.
Allow the mind to soften.
Allow yourself to arrive in this moment of rest.
And when you're ready,
You may gently open your eyes,
Or maybe you can even stay here a little longer,
Letting the calm deepen.
The music will play on.
Use the space to reflect on the day gone by.
Write down what you're releasing,
What you're welcoming in,
And how you choose to rest.
And when you feel ready,
Take off your headphones and ease into the night.
