Good evening,
This is Candice with Mindtology and I'm honoured to guide you on this meditation.
Tonight the theme is community.
Not the active outward engagement you explore during the day but the quiet reflection that settles in after the experiences have unfolded.
Community is the way we touch one another,
The way presence shapes energy,
The way being with others helps us remember who we are.
And tonight,
In stillness,
You receive the deeper meaning of the connections you lived today.
Settle into where you are right now,
Simply let your breath soften,
Let your body unwind and just let your awareness arrive gently into evening before reflecting on others,
You meet yourself.
Just notice how your body feels after a day of connecting with people,
Maybe you might find some warmth of shared laughter,
You might still sense the energy exchanged,
The presence of others moving besides you,
The moments of ease and the moments of effort.
And just have a sense of what lingers inside you,
Might be a fullness,
A tiredness,
Sparks of joy,
A longing maybe for a deeper connection or perhaps a gratitude for being part of something larger.
Whatever is here,
Just simply welcome it.
And take a slow inhale now and as you exhale,
Relax your shoulders,
Let them melt downwards and feel your breath fall into an evening rhythm,
You may sense your chest widen just slightly,
Not to open upwards but to settle inwards,
Let connection shift from something outside of you to something you can feel within you,
This is where belonging begins with your inner landscape,
Your truth.
You might bring to your mind the group you shared space with today,
Notice how you listen,
Contributed,
How you held yourself,
How you allowed yourself to be seen and feel into the moment where connection felt natural,
Meaningful and real.
And also notice now the moment that felt more effortful,
Where you held back or where something in you wished for more,
More openness,
Maybe more honesty,
More courage,
More belonging.
There is no judgment here,
Just gentle awareness,
These reflections or mirrors showing you how you relate,
How you connect.
And you may imagine stepping into a moonlight garden,
The garden of your relationships,
Your communities,
Your circles of belonging.
Walk slowly along its quiet path,
Each plant represents someone in your life or community you are part of.
Some plants are vibrant,
Nourished by mutual care and genuine presence,
Other look tender needing more attention or clarity,
Some are more distant,
Neutral,
A few may feel faded signaling a connection that no longer aligns with who you are becoming.
Let the night breeze move through the garden,
Not to change anything but to reveal what is true.
And now reflect inwardly through sensation rather than words.
Which connection today nourished me?
Which ones drained or stretched me?
You may ask yourself,
Where did I give more than I received?
Or the other way around,
Where did I receive more than I gave or expected?
And you don't have to have an answer inward,
They might arise simply by sensations,
You might feel the longing for deeper connection or the desire for clearer boundaries in your chest.
Let it be,
Gentle signposts,
Your garden shows you what wants to grow and what may need to change.
You may bring back your awareness to your body now and feel the truth of your relationships,
The one that lifts you,
The one that mirror you,
The ones that challenge you to evolve.
And now let your breath slow,
Let your day loosen its hold on you as you drift towards rest,
Holding this gentle truth.
Community is not only the people around you,
It is the way you choose to belong to yourself and to the world you are creating.
Maybe tonight you soften,
Maybe tonight you understand more and align more.
This is your evening,
Your heart,
Your inner circle,
Your way of belonging as you move peacefully into the night.
