Namaste everybody.

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.

So when you look in a mirror,

What do you see?

How do you see yourself?

Do you see your.

.

.

Do you look in the mirror and go,

Oh wow,

I look pretty good today.

Or do you look in the mirror and go,

Oof,

I see every bite of that ice cream I had last night.

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

You know,

To be honest,

Sometimes when I look in the mirror,

It's not a positive experience.

And yes,

I'm the little happy medium,

Right?

And I choose to see life in the happy side and try to find the positive and try to spread positivity.

But sometimes when I look in the mirror,

I go,

Oh goodness,

We all do it.

We all do that.

And you know what?

The thing that we have to remember is it's okay.

It's okay to look in the mirror and go,

Oof.

But we can't stay there.

That's the whole point.

We can't stay in that place of,

You know,

Because we are all children of spirit,

God,

Universe,

Whatever you really want to call it.

We are all children of that.

And if we see ourselves in that place of divine love,

Then how are we anything but perfect?

And yes,

That's a very enlightened way of talking about it.

I completely get that.

I completely get that.

It's a very enlightened way.

But we are all works in progress and we are all children of the light.

And if we can wake up and see ourselves in that way,

Amazing what you can do in the rest of the world.

If we see ourselves in a positive light or if we look in the mirror and go,

I am a child of the divine.

I am a child of the light of God,

Of universe,

Of spirit.

Imagine how that carries into the rest of the world.

You know,

When I do my meditations,

Getting ready to do these shows,

I give it all up to spirit.

And I think to myself,

I'm doing this for the one person out there,

That one person out there that needs to hear it.

And that's how I believe that spirit wants me to motivate everybody else.

Because if we see it starts here,

It starts in our own heart,

It starts in our own eyes.

When we look in that mirror and say,

I am a child of the light of God,

I am a child of the light.

I'm a child of God.

We emanate that light and it goes out into the world.

Now,

Practically,

There are ways,

Yes,

There are ways to help us in that endeavor to see ourselves in a better light when we look in the mirror.

So again,

Practically,

There are a few things that we can do to help us along,

To remind ourselves that we are divine beings.

You know,

Wayne Dyer said,

We aren't humans having a spiritual experience.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

I love that.

That to me puts it all in perspective,

Right?

It totally puts it in perspective.

But as human beings,

As human beings,

We need to consider and we need to put it all in perspective.

And sometimes we need some help.

Sometimes we need some help reminding ourselves of that.

So guess what?

Here's a few little things that you can do to help remind you how beautiful you are.

Put a sticky note,

And I know I've said this before,

Put a sticky note on your mirror that says whatever it is that will jolt you into remembering that.

You could write it in there.

I am a child of God.

I am a child of the divine.

My personal favorite.

I am a child of the light.

Or simply you could write on that sticky note,

I love you.

It's very difficult to do if you've never done that before.

And if you have,

If you look in the mirror and kind of go,

Start telling yourself you love yourself.

That is a life-changing experience.

Huge life-changing experience to be able to do that.

And there are also affirmations that we can do.

There are affirmations that we can tell ourselves,

Ongoingly,

Throughout the day to remind us how beautiful we are.

You know it's so interesting because watching TV can be a good thing sometimes depending on the show you're watching.

But sometimes,

Gosh,

Those commercials,

Anybody who has acne,

Use this product.

And so they're basically telling us we have acne.

Or they're basically telling us that we are immemorial.

And we're telling us that we are imperfect.

Go to this gym and you'll look better.

Oh my gosh,

It's so freeing to not watch TV so much.

I haven't been watching TV so much in the last couple,

Well I watch TV but it's like the Netflix stuff,

You know.

I watch the news just a little bit just because I want to know what's going on.

And then I have to turn that off.

That's not good,

Right?

It's all,

They're all telling us how imperfect we are.

But guess what?

We're not.

We are perfect.

We are perfect just the way we are.

How does that sit with you when I say that?

We are perfect just the way we are.

How does that sit with you?

You are perfect.

Hard to hear sometimes,

Isn't it?

It's hard to hear.

I am perfect.

You are perfect.

But you are.

So we are going to meditate on this.

Are you surprised?

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable today.

Oh yeah,

Let's take a nice long slow deep deep breath in and release it knowing that it all starts with us.

We can be the love we want to see in the world but it starts with us.

We need to love ourselves and understand that all of the parts that make make us up are perfect.

We may not see them as perfect but we are ourselves.

So let's take another deep breath in and let it go.

What are you grateful for today everybody?

What are you grateful for?

Are we grateful that we actually woke up this morning into this beautiful world?

Are we grateful for all the material things that we have in our lives?

So our mantra for today is the Sanskrit mantra,

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

And that means I am divine love.

Aham prema.

So as we begin our silence,

Let us take this mantra and allow it to sink into our souls and our hearts.

Aham prema.

I will keep the time.

Let's begin.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

Aham prema.

I am divine love.

So let's take a nice deep breath in and release it.

Whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

Very good.

Now as we go on through our day,

Keep this mantra close to you.

Because guess what?

You are divine love.

If you think about it reasonably,

Right,

Worldly,

We were created out of love.

Truly our bodies were created out of love.

So how could we see ourselves as anything different?

So thank you so much for joining everybody.

I love you all so much.

Namaste.

Have a beautiful day.

I'll see you soon.
