Close your eyes.

Feel your body and readjust the position.

Make yourself even more comfortable.

Lengthen the spine but soften the shoulders,

The jaw.

Take a moment to connect to your body and notice any sensations that you might have in different parts.

Now shift your focus to your breath.

For a moment just observe.

Follow the path the air is taking in your body.

And gently deepen the breath.

Allow it to be slower,

Fuller.

When we don't find time for personal care we find ourselves in a state of exhaustion.

So let's use this time to relax a little more.

Noticing if there are any parts in the body that still hold tension.

Can we soften them?

Perhaps even send the breath there.

Let the breath assist you in the relaxation.

And for a moment let's focus only on the exhale.

Observe the process of exhaling and imagine with that exhalation all the exhaustion leaves your body.

You exhale and you soften.

Any feeling of being tired leaves your body with the breath out.

Gentle inhale and relaxing slow exhale.

Releasing any tension.

One more time.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Relax even more.

And shifting the focus on the in-breath now.

Exhale.

Take a slow inhale and imagine with the air you breathe in fresh renewed energy.

Exhale.

Release.

Slow and deep inhale.

Fill yourself up with vital energy.

Exhale.

Deep inhale.

Charging yourself with that breath.

Exhale.

Release.

Take a couple more breaths like that.

Gradually bring your awareness back to your body.

Again,

Notice if there are any sensations,

If anything shifted within you.

Take a slow,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Your deepest one today,

Feel it expanding your whole being.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Release it through your mouth.

And gently open your eyes.
