Hello and welcome to this meditation,
Return to Yourself.
You can use it anytime you're being overwhelmed or just not feeling like yourself and a little bit off,
Of your center,
Of your balance,
Of your inner being.
So take a moment to find a nice and comfortable position.
You can sit down on the floor,
You can sit down on a chair,
Or you can even lay down.
Whatever works best for you.
So once you adjust your body,
Take a moment in the present.
Take a moment to be present.
And observe what's happening.
What's happening inside you,
In your thoughts,
In your feelings.
And start dissecting all that is right now.
Is it your true self?
Are your thoughts really you?
Are your emotions really you?
Often we get influenced by other people,
By other ideas,
Thoughts,
Feelings and emotions.
By different circumstances,
By things that happened to us.
And this is normal.
This is the natural way things are.
But is it truly who we are?
Is it truly what we are?
Can we peel down those layers?
Can we remove everything we're collecting throughout the day,
Throughout the week?
Everything we're collecting in our minds,
In our energy field,
In our feelings.
And look more in the center.
In the center of what is.
And find there our heart gently beating.
And our breath moving.
The only real thing in this life is our breath.
The only thing we can be sure of is our breath.
In our breath is the essence of life.
Is the essence of ourselves.
So take a moment to observe your breath.
How does your breath move?
And is that the usual way your breath moves through you?
Is there anything different at this moment?
And why do you think it's different?
So now let's begin to slow down the breath.
With ease.
Effortlessly.
Slow down your breath.
Breath after breath.
Without forcing it.
Just creating that space in your body.
Create that inviting space for your breath.
Slow down.
The more we rush into things and through things,
The more we lose ourselves.
The more we lose our ground.
And the more we slow down,
The more we look inside.
The more centered we become.
Grounded.
Present.
Authentic.
And true.
Our true self is a state of being.
It's not a state of doing.
It's a state of being.
And the more we slow down,
The more we connect with that state.
Find this connection through your breath to yourself.
Keep breathing slowly.
A little more deeper.
Inhale.
Exhale.
And notice.
Notice that you're forgetting who you are not and remembering who you are.
Connecting with each breath to your true,
Authentic,
Divine self.
Take a last few deep breaths here.
Inhaling,
Taking all of you in.
Exhaling,
Releasing anything that's not you.
And one more last deep inhale.
And exhale.
Gently open your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with me.
Namaste.
