Sincerely Often said,
Seldom really applied How often did you read a letter signed with sincerely yours?
Or How often did you hear that someone said I am a sincere person or He or She is a sincere person Both are very common in our language The use of the word sincere is so common that people hardly ever ask for the meaning of the word anymore It has become a word which lost its power and sometimes created an opposite meaning Sincerity is grown in insincerity To restore the meaning and the value We should first understand the power and quality of the meaning and begin to use it for ourselves When you are truly sincere to other people,
You have the following virtues You be guinea People get what they see and see what they get with you Direct,
Honest and true to yourself and others Or say the truth or just be silent Lying is really no option Being silent is when you do not want other people to lose their face When you are not sure of something or when lies have been told and you are asked to confirm them Then silence is the only option left Or Do the things in life because you wish to do so It is no use to do things only for the benefit unless it is your work to do it If you do volunteer work,
You should do it from the heart and not from the other have-to rewards And be sure of what you say or at least tell when you are not sure that you are not sure Check your information Do not base on stories or talks Avarice unstable information or the talk of the town Always be clear where your information comes from and if needed show your resources And Do not make a story bigger than it is Be loyal to the foundation of simplicity Sincerity is a personal attitude You must not consider it,
Fake it or brush it up And act when it is needed Sincerity is a principle of your life It is a part of integrity as it covers the positive virtues as honesty,
Reliability,
Trust and ethics How important is sincerity on a personal and society level?
When we deal with our internal communication,
Being sincere is a need Most people are willing to tell themselves even stories which are not completely true and sometimes even fake You can see it in the news a lot nowadays Most of these stories are to cover reality and personal involvement You try to convince yourself Some of them enclose guilty feelings,
Fake news and in general you tell yourself these stories to deceive your own mind Sometimes that is needed to reach a goal,
Combat a fear or solve sadness But thoughts are never needed to change the facts,
Cover up for mistakes or blame others for your mistakes Sincerity starts to watch yourself first Do not change the truth and face reality as it brought you Being sincere in society is needed to be a reliable person In all personal relationship you should be sincere and clear This makes your life easier and society a better place But you should also face the fact that most people are not sincere Can you train yourself in sincerity?
To gain your sincerity or upgrade it takes not much effort The first step is to make it a habit to be almost reliable,
Trustworthy and a person with principles When it is ingrained in your daily habits it is easy to be sincere In fact you are already well upholding these virtues But if you are not,
The steps are the same and you should be aware of the virtues on a daily basis Observe yourself,
Your thoughts and your behaviour If you want to become sincere it would be good if you also know why you want to be it What are your reasons to be sincere?
Are you doing it because I ask you to be?
Or do you have real reasons to be that way?
Sincerity is a lifestyle,
A habit and it must be ingrained in your daily behaviour,
In your soul Even your genes must be a part of it That takes time and often a lot of effort For some people it is effortless They do not need to change anything Train yourself by watching your mind and actions Look at them and weigh them in a balance In the beginning you will slow down in everything but gradually your decisions will make again the same speed and it becomes a routine Question 1 Is sincerity also a kind of being humble?
Answer 1 A sincere person does not need to be humble or always polite Sincerity can be shown in being angry,
Upset,
Outrageous When you are confronted with lies,
Cheating or serious negative behaviour it is very likely a sincere person will act upon it Sincerity does not refer to emotional responses and what is not allowed and what is not allowed It refers to a guinean response Question 2 Is a sincere person always a helpful person?
Answer 2 There is no need for a sincere person to be at your service at all the time Being sincere is not equal to serve and protect Being sincere stands for personal honesty and true behaviour,
Consistency in personality Question 3 Are people who sign their letters with sincerely yours truly sincere?
Answer 3 I wish to answer that with yes but unfortunately it is not true Signing letters with yours sincerely has a traditional background dating back from the beginning of writing correspondence when people knew each other in person and well before they write the letters they consider it honesty to what they write They are had a personal connection with the receiver after that it became an official statement and lost all the value When you read it next time you better ignore it Question 4 Is sincerity equal to being respectful or truthful?
Answer 4 Sincere people do not always need to be respectful They are truthful and honest but you do not need to respect everyone It is possible to be sincere and do not have any respect for a person at all A good example is that you judge a pedophile on the fact that he or she is misusing children for its own satisfaction This deserves no respect and you can consider it sincerely to be angry and upset and show it your way Question 5 Is sincerity a virtue on its own?
Answer 5 It is not possible to see sincerity as an individual virtue It is in constant connection with all the terms of life The terms of life are all virtues we have to live with to have a good life They all work together to create a full personality It takes the mind a lot of work to balance this out Verges on the major terms will directly affect your underlying other terms In my lectures terms of life I will explain you all the connections between those virtues Thank you for listening to this lecture If you have any question do not hesitate to leave a comment,
