Join me for a guided practice where we pause to acknowledge ourselves, others, and life's many blessings. When we connect to the simple gifts of being alive, our brains gift us with more goodness. Neuroscience research has found that cultivating a gratitude practice triggers the brain's reward system, increasing positive emotions and promoting emotional regulation and self-motivation. It also activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which supports digestion and sleep, and reduces cortisol (stress hormone) levels. I will guide you through simple breathwork as we settle into grateful awareness, followed by a practice for cultivating a grateful heart. We will end with affirmations and intentions to integrate this practice into our every day. Paired with lo-fi music for a calming mood boost.
