Hello Beloved.
Join me today.
For a gratitude meditation.
To cultivate appreciation.
Enhance emotional well-being.
And deepen your connection.
To all of the goodness in your life.
Thank you for being here.
Take a moment.
To just settle into any posture that feels supportive and comfortable whether that is sitting down perhaps laying down or walking or moving,
Whatever you need in this moment.
There is no wrong way to do this meditation.
Simply take a moment to writhe fully into your space.
There is nothing you need to fix or change.
Simply allow yourself to be present with whatever you're experiencing right now.
Bring some gentle attention to your breath.
Don't feel like you have to change it.
Or forceps,
Just notice.
And as you breathe in.
.
.
Imagine yourself just drawing in appreciation for this very moment.
Regardless of what is going on,
Just taking a moment right now.
To simply appreciate.
Yourself.
Your body.
Taking this time to connect with yourself.
With every breath out.
I invite you to release any tension.
Any worries?
Anything that you may be carrying.
Relief them.
If even for just.
.
.
Peace for you mom.
With each breath.
Invite a sense of openness.
A space for gratitude to naturally arise.
There's no pressure to feel anything specific.
Simply breathe.
And allow.
And as things come up,
You might want to name it out loud.
Or silently to yourself.
If that feels good for you.
I am grateful for this breath.
I am grateful for this moment.
I am grateful for this opportunity to pause.
And just allow the gratitude to arise.
And as you breathe in gratitude and appreciation for this moment,
I invite you to bring awareness to your body.
The precious vessel that carries you through life.
And beginning with your feet.
If that feels best for you.
If you'd like to do it another way.
This is simply an invitation.
This time is for you.
Simply scan.
The parts of your body.
Offering appreciation for each part.
Thank you feet.
For supporting me.
Thank you,
Legs.
For carrying me through my day.
Move through your entire body at your own pace.
Acknowledging with gratitude.
Offering your breath.
And if you notice any areas of discomfort,
Simply sending loving appreciation for all that it does.
Thank you back.
For holding me up.
And when this feels complete.
.
.
Take a moment,
Take a deep breath in.
Whatever that means for you.
And simply sigh out in gratitude.
For your vessel as a whole.
Next.
Let's take some time.
To acknowledge gratitude for our relationships.
And support that we have in our lives.
Invite you to bring to mind someone who has shown you kindness.
A family member.
A friend.
Teacher.
Perhaps a stranger.
As you breathe.
See if you can.
Call to mind their face.
Or general presence in your mind's eye.
Remember their kindness.
Fend them gratitude.
Thank you for your care.
Thank you for your presence in my life.
Thank you for the ways you've supported me.
Thank you for making me smile.
However small or large.
However simple or detailed.
Call to mind how their kindness makes you feel.
And with the breath in.
Feel that feeling expand in your body.
Like a light.
Getting brighter and brighter.
And as you exhale.
Releasing that light and that kindness.
Into the world.
And if it feels right.
I invite you to expand this circle.
Thinking of others who have touched your life with love.
With guidance.
Or with simple human connection.
Breathing in gratitude for these experiences.
Breathing out gratitude for the opportunity to pay it forward.
Next,
Let us turn our attention to the simple pleasures of daily life.
Perhaps the morning sunlight on your skin,
A warm cup of tea,
The sound of rain.
A comfortable home.
Access to food.
Whatever it is that comes to mind for you.
Let yourself really feel appreciation for all the gifts.
That we sometimes take for granted.
Allow gratitude to fill your heart.
As you acknowledge life's everyday miracles.
I am grateful for the clouds in the sky.
I appreciate.
Air conditioner on a hot day.
I give thanks for.
.
.
Raining water.
Take some time.
To appreciate the things you have.
And send out good wishes to all those who may be in need.
And now,
Let us end our practice.
With some affirmations.
Place your hand on your heart.
If that feels comfortable for you.
You repeat silently or out loud.
I carry gratitude with me.
I see blessings in both joy and in challenge.
My grateful heart is a gift to the world.
Feel free to take the phrase that resonates most deeply.
Or to choose your own to carry forward with you.
Into the world.
As we prepare to close,
Take some time to set an intention.
For how you will carry this grateful awareness into your day.
Perhaps you'll notice one beautiful thing on your way home.
Maybe you'll express appreciation to someone you love.
Or simply remember to pause and breathe gratitude when you need grounding.
And as you're ready Gently begin to bring some movement into your body.
Blink your eyes.
Open if you close them.
And carry this grateful heart with you till next time.
