Welcome into this evening meditation.
Welcome in your heart.
Welcome in your soul.
As we arrive at the end of another day,
Allow yourself to get completely comfortable.
Grab your coziest blanket and your coziest pillow.
Allow yourself to soften and lie down,
Arriving in this time and sacred space just for you.
Arriving in complete stillness,
Trusting and knowing that there is nothing left for you to do today,
All is done.
This is your time to let go,
To feel safe,
To allow your mind to soften and create space.
Things have been heavy for you,
Situations weighing heavy on your heart,
It is so important for you to take care of you so you can show up feeling full,
Feeling restored and feeling strong.
Allow yourself to take this time just for you.
As we move throughout our life,
We are giving away pieces of ourselves.
We move through life giving away our energy to our partner,
To our children,
To all the work we do,
To every responsibility.
Allow yourself to take this time to connect to our breath,
To release tension and to let go as we pull back our energy.
Filling ourselves back up with peace,
With calmness and with complete trust that whatever situation is unfolding,
That we will be able to move through it with resilience,
With grace,
With strength.
As you breathe in,
Place one hand over your belly,
Place the other hand over your heartbeat and allow yourself to take a deep inhale into your heart,
Filling up all the way and allow the exhale to drift out of your mouth as you soften every muscle in your body.
As we will create this space between the thoughts and allow ourselves to fall deeper and deeper into a restful night's sleep.
As you inhale,
Notice your belly rising ever so gently.
As you exhale,
Notice the belly gently falling,
Relaxing every muscle in the face,
The eyebrows,
Relaxing the jaw,
Relaxing the back of the body.
Relaxing your arms,
Your hands,
Relaxing the legs,
Relaxing your knees,
All the way down to your shins,
The ankle.
Relaxing your feet and relaxing every toe.
As you lie here,
Feeling the warmth from your own hands on your body.
With every inhale,
Feel yourself pulling back,
Filling up,
With all the love,
With all the compassion,
With all the effort you gave away today.
Allow yourself to pour back into you.
Breathing in right into the heart space,
Feeling your heart space grow wider and wider with every breath.
And with every exhale,
Feeling your mind empty,
Empty,
Empty of all of the thoughts,
Of every worry,
Of all fear.
Breathing in,
Breathing out as you fall even deeper into this sacred space,
This sacred stillness that is here for you.
Visualize in the middle of your heartbeat,
A candle,
Glowing,
The candle is completely still.
As you gaze into the brightest part of the flame,
And with every breath,
Gazing at the candle breathing in,
This very deep sense of peace,
Of softness,
Of serenity.
As you see the candle completely still,
You can sense that all the while on your journey,
There is a sacred presence with you.
This presence is filled with love,
With hope,
Guiding you,
Protecting you.
And as you look into the flame,
You know and you trust that this path you are walking,
You are not walking alone.
Breathing in this sense of peace,
Exhaling any residue of sadness.
Breathing in this sense of being held completely,
Breathing out all sense of despair.
Breathing in a sense of complete peace,
A knowing that you are capable,
That you are strong.
That you are filled with so much love and so much strength.
And you know,
With this sacred presence,
With this holy light,
You will move through anything and all will be okay.
Breathing in and breathing out.
As you stare at the flame,
You feel safe,
You feel comforted,
And you know that all is well.
As you take a breath in to the heart space,
And you slowly,
Gently blow the candle out.
As you feel your eyes very heavy,
And feel a sense of complete peace wash over you,
You know it's time now,
It's time to rest.
And you allow yourself to fall into the deepest sleep.
Everything will be okay.
