This is an opportunity to go inward and to check in with yourself,
Similar to the way you check in on family and friends.
I invite you to take the next few minutes to show yourself the same level of care.
As you settle into a comfortable position and slow your breathing down,
Ask yourself,
How are you doing?
Notice the state of your mind.
Can you observe your thoughts without getting caught up in them?
There's no need to judge whatever the mind is doing.
And there's no need to create a story around a thought.
Just notice and allow the mind to do what it does.
Stay with your breathing and continue to observe,
Be a witness to the activity of your mind.
Now notice the state of your body.
Can you be a witness to whatever is happening in your body without getting involved and without creating a story around feelings and sensations?
Get really curious.
Be aware of what is happening within you.
We tend to focus on everyone and everything but ourselves.
But here you are,
Sitting with yourself and holding space for yourself.
This is an act of self-love.
You're giving yourself the attention,
The time that you need.
In this moment,
Can you approve of yourself by saying,
I love myself and I accept myself just as I am.
I love myself and I accept myself just as I am.
As you embrace all of you,
Feel free to give yourself a big hug and tell yourself,
I love myself and I accept myself just as I am.
Give yourself the love that you give to those closest to you.
Take a nice deep breath in and slowly breathe out.
Ask yourself once again,
How are you doing?
Thank you for sitting with me.
See you next time.
