Showing up to receive.
This is a practice that you can come back to whenever you remember to.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down on your back.
Drop into your body.
Feel the skin around your eyes relax.
Feel your body settling into itself.
Notice how you are showing up for yourself in this moment.
Use your breath to become more present with yourself.
Feel the ground support you as you release down.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Begin to explore some of the more resistant parts of your body.
Begin to notice where you are holding tension,
Where you are gripping.
Become aware of your response.
How you respond becomes your lesson.
We can learn so much about ourselves just by noticing how we respond to ourselves in each moment.
Take this time to notice.
Now with each breath soften.
Noticing your thoughts.
Is there any judgments?
With each breath that you draw in,
Begin to invite more compassion.
Invite more kindness.
Hold space for yourself.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Feel the shape of your body slowly change as your breath moves in and out.
With each breath imagine that you are being breathed with ease,
With softness,
With love.
Your breath is moving through you with very little effort.
It feels effortless to breathe.
It's as if you are receiving your breath like a gift and then offering it back out again to the world.
Take a long,
Sweet inhale and then let it go.
Release completely into the earth,
Into the ground.
Bow your head.
Give thanks,
Blessings.
