Through our collective energy we can create ripples of harmony and understanding.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated or lying position and gently close your eyes,
Allowing your body to find stillness.
Turn your attention inward,
Focusing on the space within.
Feel your body and connect to your breath.
Just notice the quality of your natural breath.
Don't try to change it.
Enjoy the calm,
The peacefulness it brings.
Deep breath in,
Visualizing pure calming energy entering your body.
As you exhale,
Release any tension or stress,
Letting it dissolve away.
Each breath brings calmness to your heart and mind.
Imagine a place where you feel completely at peace.
It could be a quiet forest,
A beautiful beach or a mountaintop.
In this place you are untouched by external chaos.
Feel this place saturating every cell of your body,
Touching every thought and feeling.
From this place of inner peace,
Visualize a gentle radiant light emerging from your heart.
This light represents love.
It represents understanding and unity.
Imagine the energy of your heart touching your loved ones,
Each and every one of them,
Your whole community and spreading outwards to touch upon cities and countries and eventually the entire globe.
Imagine this expansion of light with every breath.
This light is growing and as this light touches each person,
Imagine it calming conflicts,
Healing the wounds.
Witness as the whole world starts glowing in this light of peace.
Now visualize a pristine pond in front of you.
Create this inner vision for yourself.
A pristine pond in front of you and with every intention of peace you send out.
Imagine a droplet falling into the pond,
Creating ripples that spread outwards.
Understand that every peaceful thought or action you make creates such a ripple effect,
Touching countless lives,
Strengthening harmony and unity.
Silently repeat to yourself now,
I am peace.
I am love.
My inner peace contributes to the world's peace and harmony.
Start to deepen your breaths again now,
Drawing your focus back to the present moment and maybe you can carry with you this feeling of deep inner calm and the knowledge that your inner peace has the power to touch the world.
Slowly open your eyes,
Feeling rejuvenated and connected.
