Hello and welcome to another Everyday Progress meditation.
This meditation is meant to be listened to in the morning when starting your day with a cup of coffee.
Never listen while operating heavy machinery,
Driving,
Or doing anything that requires your undivided attention.
If you need to make yourself a cup of coffee now,
Pause this meditation and do it.
If you have your coffee,
Then take a seat,
Lean back,
And relax.
Close your eyes,
Clear your mind,
And slowly bring your coffee cup to your lips and take a sip.
Savor the taste.
Now put the cup to your nose and take in the aroma.
Take another sip,
Then put the cup down.
Sit back and relax.
Now with your eyes closed,
Listen to the sounds around you.
What do you hear?
Are there any sounds that you haven't noticed before?
Are birds chirping outside?
Now open your eyes,
Take another slow sip,
And choose something in the distance to look at.
If there's a window,
Look out and focus on something in detail.
Research it with your eyes.
What was the object doing a few hours ago?
A day ago?
What will the object be doing worse?
If you are standing,
Sit back down,
Put your hand around the head.
How does it feel?
Is it smooth?
Lift the cup back up to your nose,
Take in the aroma,
And take another sip.
Savor the taste.
Now close your eyes,
Slow your breathing,
And just let yourself go.
Let your mind wander and allow your subconscious to answer the questions I'm about to ask.
Don't force thoughts.
Just visualize and let your mind flow.

Now lean back with your eyes closed and think about how great your day can be.
Think about what you need to do to make your day great.
Think about how lucky you are to have what you have and be where you are.
Now listen to the music,
Chill,
And drink your coffee.
Savor it.
Be grateful for your coffee.
It's one of life's simple pleasures.
Now if your eyes are still closed,
Feel free to open them.
Just sit,
Sip,
Relax,
Ponder life,
And listen as I speak to your subconscious mind.
