A Golden Bath

Let Estelle guide you into a meditative visualisation. Experience the relaxation, weightlessness and healing of sinking into a golden bath of light. Let yourself totally relax and drift into space, leaving all your cares behind you.

Transcript

Just take a moment or two to settle.

Allow your body to sink into the surface supporting you.

This is your time.

You have nothing else to do.

Let your eyes close and picture yourself standing in a bathroom.

This is a very special bathroom,

A bathroom you'd love to have.

It may be indoors or outdoors.

You are wearing a beautiful bathrobe,

Soft and light.

Take a few moments to take in your room.

The colours,

The shapes,

The sounds,

The perfumes,

The floor beneath your feet.

The bath.

Let your attention focus on the bath.

It may be a bath you step over or a bath you step down into.

As you have been standing there,

The bath has filled.

Move over now and test the temperature with your hand,

Trailing your fingers through the water.

It's just right.

On the edge of the bath is a small crystal bottle with a crystal stopper.

You pick it up.

It seems to be filled with flecks of gold.

There is a label on the bottle.

It reads,

Healing bath salts.

You pick it up and pull out the stopper and sprinkle some into the bath.

It's like a million sparkles of light and as it touches the water it glitters and blims and dances as it moves beneath the surface.

You tip in the whole bottle and the bath becomes a golden pond.

Using your robe,

You step into the water,

Allowing it to lap over your feet.

Still the perfect temperature.

You move in a little deeper and the water glides up your legs,

Around your knees,

Flowing smoothly around you like liquid gold.

It moves up your thighs to your hips and buttocks.

You slowly sit down until you are immersed up to your armpits in warm,

Beautiful water.

And you play with the water,

Gently smoothing it over your body.

It is so relaxing,

Soothing,

Calming.

Behind you at the end of the bath is a headrest and you lean back and rest your head on it until your shoulders and chest are also submerged.

The water softly laps around the back of your head,

Your ears,

Your neck.

The water is all over you.

It is calming,

Warm,

Soft,

Smooth,

And you sink into the luxury of it.

The golden lights sparkle and play over your body,

Under your body,

And all around you.

You feel them enter your skin from your toes up to your legs,

Your arms,

Your chest,

Around your back and spine,

Under your chin,

Around the back of your head,

Into your scalp,

Into every cell.

And you feel it healing,

And you feel its light,

And you feel its lightness,

So wonderfully light and caressing.

Then it moves deeper into your body,

Into the soft flesh beneath your skin,

Throughout the whole of your body.

A golden light flows and smooths,

Calms and heals you.

Light then moves into your skeletal system,

Into your bones,

From your skull,

Around your eye,

Your ears,

And your jaw,

Into the bones of your neck,

Down over your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Around the elbows,

Down to the wrists,

And into the numerous bones that make up your hands and fingers.

It moves through your shoulder blades and down your spine,

To your hips,

Your pelvis,

Your buttocks,

Into your thighs and around your knees to your lower legs and ankles,

And into the many bones that make up your feet and toes.

This soft healing light.

And still it moves deeper into your digestive system,

Your mouth,

Around your tongue and down your throat into your stomach,

Into your kidneys,

Liver,

Large and small intestines,

Into every part of the system.

And still it moves further in,

Healing,

Caressing,

Soothing,

And now into your muscles and tendons that are so tight,

They relax and melt.

The light continues its healing journey into your circulatory system.

Your airways,

Your veins,

Arteries and capillaries,

Into the blood pumped from your heart into your lungs,

Circulating throughout your body,

Removing the pains,

The stress,

The anxiety.

And you are just floating there,

Relaxed,

At peace,

Floating.

And still the golden magic light moves in further into the spaces between all the cells,

Into the spaces of the smallest molecules,

Until your whole body is like light,

A golden light.

And you no longer have any weight.

It's as if you are suspended in the liquid of the bath,

Floating in a warm amniotic fluid.

No stress,

No errant thoughts,

Just peace.

And the light within you flows without you and all about you and into your aura.

It fills the bathroom and beyond.

You are suspended in space.

You and the universe and you and the liquid are one,

Totally free.

Now you feel a gentle movement over your body as if the water in the bath is caressing you and massaging you.

The water wants you to play,

To swim,

To glide in the space of things,

To dive,

To float There is no time.

There are no barriers.

There are no surfaces.

There are no boundaries.

You are totally free.

There is only now.

There is only now.

There is only now.

There is only now.

There is only now.

There is only now.

You feel the water gently move now as it corrals you and brings you back into that space where the bath is.

You can feel the rest under your head,

The bath under your back,

Buttocks and legs.

The water gives you one last swirl and the bath gently empties,

Bringing you back into the bathroom.

You notice that a most luxurious towel is draped over the bath.

You reach for it and stand,

The last drops of golden water flow from your body,

Removing any remaining minute particles of stress.

As you wrap yourself in the towel you are instantly dry.

Step out of the bath and put on your beautiful gown.

So light,

So soft,

So safe.

It's time to return now.

So just lift your arms wide and slowly turn full circle,

Bringing yourself back,

Back,

Back to this time and place,

Bringing back the peace,

The relaxation,

The healing,

The freedom and the magic golden light.

Ready now to move on in your day or night.
