Right where your belly starts to puff out as soon as you inhale.
Place your left hand on your heartbeat wherever it feels the strongest.
As you inhale,
Breathe into your belly first,
Then into your heartbeat.
Exhale so that your heartbeat hand descends first and then your belly hands presses in.
Exhale everything out.
Even when you think you're empty,
Let a little puff get rid of that last little bit that your body holds on to just in case.
Allow yourself to feel that emptiness,
That stillness,
Just for a heartbeat or two,
Not too long,
Just before it gets uncomfortable.
