And good morning everybody.
Is everybody ready to just have a great day?
That's what I feel like I want to say today.
I want us all to have just like instead of saying okay I'm gonna try really hard to have a great day.
I'm going to have a great day.
So let's do that.
So today I want to talk about a couple things in the sort of energy world.
Fun times right?
Okay so you may be listening to this at some other point and that's absolutely fine but I just wanted to share what is going on in the energy world.
So this Friday,
Which is June 5th at 12 12 p.
M.
So that's noon is the full moon.
Okay so that's like number one crazy weird thing that's going on.
Okay number two is and you guys love when I talk about this but starting from June 18th to July 12th yeah you heard that right a whole month of Mercury being in retrograde.
Yeah I know you guys love when I bring that up but the thing is is that if we are prepared and if we can sit in the patience right then we will be fine.
We will get through it together right okay and then wait it gets even better right there's also an eclipse coming up on June 21st it's a lunar eclipse and it's so if you're feeling the weird energy okay so yeah we know that all the sort of the world is in sort of turmoil I guess you could say there's a lot of stuff going on but I don't know if you felt at one point during this thing there was a switch we went from frustration and anger to resolve and and beauty right so that's what happens when the Earth's energy does this switch thing okay now to get through that we need to have and I always talk about this every time that mercury goes retrograde patience positivity and persistence okay so I talk about those three things those are three essential elements when the world starts having this kind of crazy energy okay so that all being said we're gonna try something new today are you guys ready okay I'm kicking this up just a little bit of notch just a little bit of not just that I don't even know if that's the right way to say this today what I want to do is we're gonna do a mantra that isn't just a word okay and I'm gonna talk you through this okay this mantra is sort of a an appeal to the Hindu God Lord Ganesh okay Ganesh is the the the elephant head okay that you've seen that is a Hindu God okay and he is known for his wisdom okay and his knowledge and so there is a specific mantra that we do to take away the obstacles so basically what this is it's this mantra is an appeal to Ganesh to help get away the take away the obstacles in our lives isn't that like cool okay now regardless of whatever your religious beliefs I'm never trying to step on that it's just kind of an interesting and once you see what we're gonna do you'll be like oh this is actually kind of cool you know because I'm open to everything right I love hearing it all I love learning it all right so this mantra goes as such and we're gonna do it in like a sing-song you wait of course because you guys know I love that so that it's easy and you can do it out loud you can do it in your in your mind you can whisper it you can do whatever you want okay so I'm gonna spell it out really easily om gom gana pataye namaha so it's it's four words om gom so it's g-u-m gom and then the third word is gana pataye and then namaha so it's om gom gana pataye namaha and like I said you can make it kind of sing-songy and I swear to you every single time that I have something that is like messing with me whether it's traffic or whether it's like something in my head that's like a you know an obstacle in my head this is what I go to and it's like it's like it clears it up it's like it helps your brain turn off and turn into a different place right so this is so Deva Pramal does this version of this right so I'm gonna sing it kind of in her version okay so it's om gom gana pataye namaha om gom gana pataye namaha om gom gana pataye namaha so that's how Deva Pramal does it so let's get ourselves I will be there with you through it because I wanted to kick this up a notch because you guys are ready let's do this thing right okay so get yourself comfortable in a comfortable position and if you have your blanket or however you like to be comfortable in the morning whenever you feel comfortable you can let your eyes flick closed yeah and to get us ready for this new fun experience let's take a nice long slow deep breath in so breathe in through your nose and hold it and out good job beautiful beautiful let's do that one more time breathe in through your nose and hold it and breathe out it's so awesome starting with deep breaths like that because it gets your body ready to sit in the silence and stillness so before we begin our chanting for the day let's get ourselves into that place of gratitude and let's go with what are three things that you are grateful for today what are three things that you are so thankful for today it can be the weather whether that's good or bad I mean whether the weather is rainy or sunny you can be thankful for it either way I'm thankful that I feel really good today I feel really healthy today yesterday not so much the case well you could just be thankful for that cup of coffee or tea or if you want to dive deep like we seem to be doing today you could be thankful for the freedoms that we have in our lives our partner or significant other and who they are to us beautiful and as we get ready to begin our chanting meditation let's think about what Ganesh represents he represents knowledge and wisdom and he's known as the breaker of obstacles so his there an obstacle in your life that you want to break free of it could be as small as it could be as small as I don't know creating getting outside and walking today when you know that you can't really take the time so maybe if we chant that you'll magically have those few minutes where you can go take a walk or it could be something larger than that could be an obstacle in your head an obstacle like fear that is stopping you from doing something that you absolutely are really really would like to do so as we get ready to begin our meditation we set the obstacle that we would love to even if it's small just overcome today and we set that as our intention and as we begin our mantra I will lead you through it so there's no worries as we begin our mantra appealing to Ganesh to break the obstacles in our lives right now I'm gonna put a name on my home home gonna put a name on my home Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Boysons isish Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namah omgom arrest Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha Let's take a nice long slow deep breath in.
Very,
Very slow.
Filling up your lungs and breathe it out.
Beautiful.
And we say thank you.
Thank you to Ganesh.
For removing the obstacles that are in our lives today.
So that we may create,
So that we may have and achieve the patience that we need today.
The positivity that we need.
And the persistence.
Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
So,
How did that feel?
I don't know if any of you have chanted before because I tend to keep these meditations as sort of a beginner's sort of thing.
But it felt so powerful.
And the longer that you do Om Gom Ganapataye Namaha.
If you do it 109 times,
That's the amount of times,
Many times that can really help you achieve and give the mantra power.
Right?
That's why we have the Mala beads.
I have them right behind me.
That's 109 on there.
And that can really help you achieve whatever it is that you're looking to achieve for the day.
So,
So thank you for joining me on this fun journey of life today.
Right?
Thank you so much for joining me.
And you guys did a great job with the mantra.
Thanks again for joining me.
I love all of you.
And until next time.
Namaste everybody.
Have a beautiful day.
