At this time of year when resolutions to “start anew” are plentiful, Jeffrey reminds us that resolutions rarely work because the mind’s anticipation of the change rarely equates to the change which ultimately occurs. Better perhaps to form intentions whereby we are open to everything and attached to nothing, giving ourselves permission to accept that we don’t know how the future will play out, only that we will get through whatever comes our way.
