Affirmations for healthcare and essential services workers,

Including first responders and anyone who works in the food,

Delivery,

Mail carrier,

Transportation and sanitation industries,

Military,

And a lot more.

Everyone is having a different experience of the global pandemic of 2020.

Some people are restless because they have to work from home or are quarantined with their families.

But many other people,

Including you perhaps,

Don't have the luxury of being able to stay home all the time.

You continue to work because you have a job that is considered an essential service.

And that means you could very well be putting your own health and life at risk by doing so.

So first,

I want to say thank you and let you know this is dedicated to you.

The rest of this recording will be filled with a series of you are affirmations.

Whether you are sitting,

Driving,

Or something else,

All you have to do is listen.

These are the words of comfort and gratitude that I and millions of people around the world want you to hear.

So take a deep breath,

Get centered,

And let's begin.

You are amazing.

You are so appreciated.

You are loved and respected by many.

You are special.

You are a blessing to the world.

You have no idea how many lives you are positively impacting.

You are simply the best.

You are a hero.

You are a champion among champions.

You are brave.

You are courageous.

I know you feel afraid at times,

But you move forward and rise above it.

You are incredible.

You are strong in the face of adversity.

You are a gift to humanity.

You are a blessing to the world.

If it all feels like it's too much at times,

Give yourself permission to feel that way.

Embrace the fact that you are human.

Acknowledge your feelings.

Whenever you feel pressure,

Breathe into it and release it.

In fact,

Let's practice that right now.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And slowly let it out.

Again,

Take a long,

Slow breath in.

And let it out with an ah sound.

It's okay to relax.

You deserve to feel calm.

Give yourself permission to let go.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are divinely protected.

Trust that a greater power has your back.

The divine intelligence of the universe surrounds you.

Your ancestors,

Your guides,

And your angels are looking after you.

It's going to be okay.

You are going to be okay.

You will not only survive,

You will thrive.

I know you will rise above because you do it every day.

You are so good at what you do.

The world needs you now more than ever.

You lead by example.

You show others the way.

You make life better for so many people.

You are incredible.

You are amazing.

You are loved and appreciated by thousands of people.

You are a beacon of light.

You illuminate the darkness.

You are a shining example of strength and positivity.

Thousands of people around the world are praying for you.

Thousands of people respect you.

Tens of thousands thank you for the important work you do.

You are loved.

You are appreciated.

You are amazing.

Take another deep breath as we bring this session to a close.

I hope you took all of these statements to heart because they are true.

Many thousands of people love and respect you,

Including me.

So again,

Thank you for the work you do.

This is Bob Baker of BobBakerInspiration.

Have a great day.

I wish you the best and hope to talk with you again soon.

Until then,

So long for now.

Thank you for your kind and supportive words. I appreciated them more than I can say, even if there were a few statements that I did not agree with from a factual and philosophical perspective - one cannot state with certainty that another (a total stranger) will stay safe and healthy if the person's current situation is completely unknown, for example, but I was able to overcome my skepticism in favor of the intent I believe was behind it. I find myself in an odd position, as many others do, I'm sure. Our work is considered essential services, but as management, I go into work every day and little has changed for me. I am not as public-facing as so many others are, including our employees and the trainees in my program. I feel like a coach on the sidelines but still at the game, or a field officer ordering troops from the rear instead of on the front lines. (Prior military service also has instilled in me a chomping at the bit to be out there, doing more than being support for others, though I am keenly aware they rely on my support and others like me to go out there and do their jobs.) I guess what this boils down to is a realization that while yes, I am essential personnel, and yes, I have not had to (or been able to) change my regular work schedule in any way, there is still an element in my mind that whispers I am somehow displaying stolen valor by accepting positive reinforcement and support such as that found in this track. Even with that said, I know in my heart this is not the case, as there was a sheen of tears in my eyes after hearing the first few statements in this affirmation session. Even though I may not think I am nearly as deserving of such praise and thanks as the public-facing workers such as medical, food service, retail workers, and military are, I do recognize that my work in supporting and coordinating their efforts is critical as well during this time more than ever. Thank you for thinking of all of us. Thank you for so eloquently expressing your support and appreciation. Thank you for sharing this here, and in a form that enables us to receive these words "on the go" without needing to pause for a more formal practice. I like to listen to affirmations as I commute to and from work, and this is a new, wonderful addition to that library - even if pragmatically I cannot buy into the perceived guarantee that I will be safe and protected. Just to clarify that last, I am spiritual and observe a religious path that encourages self-sufficiency rather than any sort of reliance or dependence from the gods for assistance or protection. They have lives to live, too, though one can always send a prayer up and see what happens. We were made with intelligence and skill, and using those wisely is the ultimate prayer of gratitude, I feel. The whole "angel/Divine protection" thing is rather foreign to me, though I could connect with spirit guides easily enough. Thank you for the diversity of terminology you included. That was a key factor in being able to truly bring your words on board as pertaining to me personally, not just any person who happens to hit the play button on this track. Be well, Bob. And thank you again for your support of all of us during this time. I see you and the light within you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻
