Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Now with your third large deep breath,
Hold it for about 3 seconds.
Now let go and relax.
Imagine that you are on a beach.
A beach that is your own private beach.
A beach where no one can disturb you.
It's a very safe place.
Imagine that the bright,
Warm sun is warming and soothing your body.
You approach your favourite beach spot with anticipation.
You know that you will be soon in a very relaxed,
Happy state.
Imagine that and inviting that the sounds look.
It almost calls out to you to lie down and relax.
You spread your favourite towel or blanket and lie down.
Close your eyes now if you haven't already and feel the warmth of the sun soothing all of your muscles as the heat relaxes you.
Feel the warmth making the little wrinkles at the corner of your eyes feel smooth and relaxed.
You hear the gentle,
Rhythmic lapping of the waves on the shore and it becomes a repeating signal for you to relax further.
You can feel the warmth of the sun and you can imagine as if it were entering your body like warm liquid coursing through you.
You can feel the warm,
Relaxing liquid flowing through your veins.
Your muscles begin to let go and relax more than they ever have.
Now hear the waves flow and just let go.
Your breathing is slow and deep.
You feel wonderful.
The calming,
Warm liquid is flowing down from the top of your head.
Slowly,
Slowly but steadily,
Downward through your body and it feels so comfortable.
So relaxing.
As it progresses,
You focus on any areas that you want to let go of more in your body knowing that the warm liquid heat from the sun will carry on your way.
The warmth has reached your neck,
Flowing down through your shoulders and arms.
Feel it surrounding you like a protective cocoon.
Feel it moving down,
Down like an irresistible source of comfort through your chest and stomach,
Flowing down,
Down to your hips and legs.
The waves lap against the shore and the warm liquid relaxes you more and more.
They come through your feet and toes.
You can hear the waves flowing up on the shore and receding.
You appreciate how comforting the sound is to you in your relaxed state.
Listen to the waves roll slowly to the shore.
The soothing sound brings you deeper and deeper.
Down,
Down,
More relaxed than you've ever thought possible.
A great way to relax is to put some distance between you and your situation.
Let us now do that and begin a countdown from 500.
Put this time into a positive relaxation to remove stress.

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table.

He picked up a very long empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks about two inches in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.

Ship the jar lightly.
The pebbles of course rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course the sand filled up the remaining open areas of the jar.
He then asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous yes.
Now said the professor,
I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The rocks are the important things.
Your family,
Your partner,
Your family of the children.
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained,
Your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the things that matter.
Like your job,
Your house,
Your car.
The sand is everything else.
The snow is the 20.
If you put the sand into the jar,
You can take it from it or two.
The same goes for your life.
If you spend all your time and energy on this more stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.
Your subconscious energy will feed the things that are critical and you're into your happiness.
Just play with your children.
Take your partner out dancing.
There will always be time to go to work.
Clean the house.
Give a dinner party or fix the hoover.
Take care of the rocks first.
Decode which song your subconscious is fed into the radio.
Set your priorities.
The rest is just sand.
Again,
Feel the clue or hear the first few notes of a song in your mind.
Adapt yourself to the things among which your lot has been cast.
And love the associated fellow creatures with whom destiny has ordained that you shall live.
