Beautiful soul,
I see you.
I know what it's like to feel disconnected from yourself,
From the present moment,
From your own body.
It's like everything is happening all at once and nothing is happening at all.
I've been there and I'm here to guide you gently home to yourself using your breath and your body.
So let's take this moment to embrace your very presence,
Allowing yourself to get warm and cozy,
Whatever feels best for you.
Feeling disconnected doesn't mean you're a failure.
It's simply your nervous system doing its best to protect you.
This response is a sign of your body's intelligence,
A survival mechanism that has carried you through moments of overwhelm.
You are not broken.
You are not doing anything wrong.
In fact,
Your body is communicating with you and this practice is an opportunity to tune in and give your body a warm hug.
So let's arrive here in this moment.
There's no rush,
No expectation,
Just presence and permission to feel safe within.
Inviting you to find a space or a posture to where you feel supported.
Maybe you're closing your eyes,
Looking at the tip of your nose or giving yourself a soft gaze.
What does your body need from you in this moment?
Settle and land there.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Let it hold you.
How does it feel to be supported?
Starting to intentionally notice your breath,
Not changing it,
Not forcing anything.
Just simply be a witness to your breath.
Allow yourself to simply feel the natural essence of your breath.
Inviting yourself to make your exhales twice as long as your inhales.
Finding room to expand your exhale.
Collectively,
Let's take three breaths together.
Taking a deep inhale through the nose here and exhaling through the mouth.
Inhaling in through the nose.
And exhale releasing through the mouth.
Last one,
Best one,
Deep breath in through the nose.
And exhaling through the mouth.
Continuing that breath pattern or one that feels really good to you right now.
Simply give your body what it needs.
Become aware of the fullness of yourself.
With each in-breath,
Envision light entering in your body.
Notice that light illuminating your being and dispelling any tension that may be lingering within.
Allow your breath to be a vehicle of light,
Illuminating your entire being,
Starting at the crown of your head.
Feel the light moving through your temples,
Softening your face.
Allowing each exhale to melt yourself deeper.
Softening the jaw,
The back of the eyes.
Allowing your shoulders to just draw heavy.
Softening your arms,
Your hands and your fingers.
And exhaling completely.
Gently guide the light down your spine,
Spiraling down vertebrae by vertebrae.
Blessing your organs and your intestines.
Softening and releasing the tension in your hips.
Feeling lighter and more at ease.
Softening your thighs,
Your knees,
Your legs.
All the way down to your toes.
Melting deeper.
Becoming aware of the fullness of yourself.
You are anchored,
Safe and secure.
Take a deep inhale in through your nose.
An exhale release.
Feel yourself illuminating and at ease.
Take a moment to ask yourself,
Where am I holding tension still?
On each exhale release any tension in your body.
It doesn't have to sit with you.
You don't have to carry it.
Allow your breath as light to dispel the tension in your body.
Allowing you to soften and melt deeper into yourself.
As you continue to breathe,
Gently place one hand on your heart.
And your other to follow.
Take a moment to identify your heart.
Can you feel your heart beating?
Take a deep inhale in.
And exhale let the breath go.
Inhaling into the heart.
And exhaling letting it go.
And exhale releasing letting it go.
With each inhale fill your heart with light.
Physically feeling the warmth on your palms.
Honor and acknowledge that this is the heartbeat that was your first indication of life.
Your heartbeat is how we first identified you as one of the rarest forms set to walk on this earth.
The intelligence within the fabric of your being has the power to transform the world.
You are uniquely designed to leave a life altering impact on this world.
May you tap into the guidance of your heart and the brilliance of your breath to help you navigate through that vision.
What an honor it is to be you.
What an honor it is to feel your heart beating.
And what an honor it is to breathe on purpose.
Let's take a final collective inhale breath in through our nose.
And exhaling a deep sigh out.
Beautiful soul this is radiance.
I'm so proud of you for honoring your brilliance.
Whenever you need a reminder of how amazing you are simply come back.
I'll be here for you.
Be well on purpose.
