Greeting each other with a smile.
And let's start with those wrists,
Okay?
So this will be a nice chair yoga class,
Also talking about the newness that's arriving.
So we have a new quarter.
We have a new mom.
A new opportunity to bring in fresh energy.
We have more opportunities to start over.
Okay,
There's nothing wrong with pivoting in this moment.
Make sure you're going both sides if you haven't already.
Now let's open and close.
Open nice strong fingers.
We want to make sure that we're really helping.
And stretching out.
All right,
There we go.
Now open and squeeze closed,
So like open.
Close.
Yeah,
There we go.
And so I like to think about who do I want to be stepping into?
This new month.
Who do I want to be and who do I want to want to leave as?
I was re-looking at.
.
.
The 1st of September and it was absolutely insane.
I was like,
Oh my gosh,
That seems like so long ago.
And it wasn't.
It wasn't.
So remember,
Anything can happen.
All right,
Let's get into those shoulders.
Again,
Breathing here,
Going all the way back.
Maybe we start out with small circles.
And then we go all the way into like big round shoulder rolls.
I know we're always kind of typing or hunched over,
So how can we really open up our shoulders?
Maybe we turn that into arm circles.
All right,
Beautiful.
So I think of it,
Okay,
October has 31 days.
Who do I want to be?
When I get to October 31st and I lay my head down to rest as I say my prayers before I go to sleep.
Who am I?
And understanding that each choice that we make daily brings us to that person,
And that person's already within us.
We just have to go meet it.
Right,
And so we like to meet it through embodiment practices.
Next one,
Hands out nice and strong,
Open,
Even bring them back a little bit more.
And then exhale,
Bring that right hand,
Ooh,
Over the left.
Grab your shoulder blades here.
And I don't want us to throw our elbows down.
I want them up.
So bring your elbows up,
And then let's just rock side to side.
Now remember,
Your body is yours.
It's so brilliant,
So uniquely designed,
So amazing.
And the cool thing is only you know.
Only you know how you feel.
So I want you to go as much as you can and what feels good to you.
So maybe you're lifting those shoulders up a little bit more.
Inhaling here.
And then exhale,
Let them just sink a little bit.
We'll do two more.
Inhale,
We lift.
And exhale.
Beautiful,
Last one,
Best one,
Friends.
Inhale,
We lift.
Ooh,
And exhale.
Beautiful.
Let's bring those arms back out.
Deep breath in and exhale.
Bring your left arm over towards your right.
Now that means that your right arm will be kind of shifting down and then we're going to inhale up.
And I'll see you next time.
Over towards the opposite side.
Stores shoulders from carrying heavy grocery bags and it really helps.
Good.
Or this really helps.
All right,
So here we are.
We're just a nice little windmill.
So let's go side to side really reaching up bonus points if you want to look up as well.
Now.
I like long,
Strong,
Energetic arms.
Ooh,
Maybe you can touch the ground.
Ah,
Bow.
Oh,
It feels so good to be us.
I love thinking about that,
Like being able to move your body in a fun way.
All right,
Let's go back into our neutral position here,
Friends,
And then exhale that left arm over the right.
Wow.
Maybe you can tell which side is spicier than the other.
As you know,
Left side,
Spicy side for me.
So take a deep breath in and lift.
Those elbows,
Friends.
We lift,
Lift,
Lift.
I look like I'm peeking over my elbows to see you.
Inhale here and exhale let's bring it down.
Inhale we rise up.
Exhale,
Let's bring it down.
One more deep breath in,
We rise up.
And exhale,
We're gonna bring it down.
So let's inhale our arms back out,
And then exhale,
Bring our arms behind us.
I want you to interlock your arms behind us.
And,
Or maybe you're grabbing the back of a chair,
Roll your shoulders down and back.
And let's just bring those elbows together,
Those shoulders together.
This should really help.
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
One more,
Inhale in.
And exhale.
Beautiful.
