Overcoming fear isn't about having an absence of fear.
It's about facing those fears.
It's about feeling that fear and then still going ahead and doing it anyway.
It's about not backing out and giving up.
It's about moving forward relentlessly.
And once you face those fears you realize often that they're irrational and more often than not you make them out to be bigger than what they actually are.
So this meditation is going to be focusing on strength.
The power you have within to overcome those fears.
The realization that every human being experiences fear.
And it's not about stopping it but it's about facing it and doing whatever it is that you need to do anyway.
For a long time I was the person that got upset with myself because I used to be quite fearful in many different situations.
And I used to beat myself up over it but it wasn't until I realized that every single human being experiences fear.
It's just that some people are better at dealing with it.
That I decided to change how I approached situations in my life.
So this meditation I'm going to be giving you some empowering statements that I hope will sink into your subconscious mind to help you face your fears in a more productive way and to stop you from telling yourself a negative story about what you have to face.
Because you can face it you can overcome that fear.
So first of all I want you to focus on your breathing.
You can close your eyes if you want to.
Just be aware of your natural breathing pattern for a moment.
Now that you're attentive to your natural breathing pattern I want you to just breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Continue this for a few times.
Breathe in through your mouth.
Breathe in through your mouth.
Breathe in through your mouth.
Okay now all you have to do is simply listen to my voice.
And afterwards I want you to notice how good you feel.
To see if you're feeling stronger,
More courageous,
Feeling more confident in yourself.
So let's begin.
You are powerful beyond imagination.
There is nothing stopping you from becoming the person that you choose to be.
The only one stopping you is yourself.
We become the stories we tell ourselves in our mind.
Who are you going to decide to be?
What are you going to tell yourself?
Those are the questions you need to ask yourself.
Every human being has the capacity to face their fears.
The universe doesn't present anything in front of you that you cannot face,
That you are not strong enough to face.
You are being guided every single day and if you listen and have a little faith in that whisper then you can face any fear.
You are more than capable of achieving your dreams but first of all you must face yourself.
You must face those fears head on and if you do you'll be rewarded for your bravery.
You have nothing to worry about if you try.
The only regret is not trying because even in failure you learn,
You grow,
You adapt.
So next time you come back stronger and perhaps you can tackle what you need to tackle exactly as you need to.
Don't stay dormant,
Face those fears.
I will end this meditation with a little message,
A reminder about fear.
Fear only exists in your thoughts of the future.
It does not exist in the present moment.
It's only when you begin to overthink that fear becomes a player.
And fear becomes even stronger when that story you tell yourself is a negative one.
So choose to speak to yourself well.
Continue to practice meditation that's going to keep you present and you'll feel stronger and you'll be able to face those fears in a more productive way.
