Today we are going to be going on a guided visual meditation.
The benefits you'll receive from this meditation are a feeling of empowerment,
Perhaps a realization,
A general overall well-being,
A feeling good,
Elevated,
And just high spirits.
I want you to get comfortable wherever you are.
You can be sitting cross-legged or legs in front of you or just whatever makes you feel comfortable in this moment.
We're going to begin with a breathing technique that I like to use,
Which is the 4-7-8 technique.
We're going to be doing this five times in a row.
Sometimes this can make people feel dizzy,
So if it does make you feel dizzy,
Just return to your normal breath.
So first of all,
You want to breathe in for four seconds,
Hold at the top for seven seconds,
And then breathe out for eight seconds.

You can use that breathing technique during the day or any point that you're feeling overwhelmed or like you need to be grounded in the present moment.
It's just a really quick technique that just takes between one and two minutes that really helps you to feel the moment.
If perhaps you're feeling like you're kind of away with the fairies or like things are on top of you and you're not quite focused.
So this will help us concentrate during this meditation.
I want you to close your eyes and imagine you're walking along a rainbow road.
This road was designed specifically for you.
Along this journey,
We're going to be coming across a few things that are going to make you feel different things.
I won't elaborate what they are right now.
It's going to be kind of a little adventure.
So you're walking along the rainbow road and all of a sudden you look to the left.
You see an animal.
Now this animal is unique to you.
Whatever the first animal is that pops into your mind,
This is the animal that has presented itself to you.
This animal looks into your eyes and you look back at it.
You get this overwhelming feeling of connection.
It's almost as if the animal was smiling at you through its eyes.
There's an interaction between your souls going on in this moment.
Feel that connection for a moment.
Although you are two very separate beings,
Individual traits,
Characteristics,
Physical appearances,
You are still both on the same journey of life.
You have respect for one another.
And just looking into this animal's eyes,
It fills you with reassurance.
Knowing that whatever life is,
You're not doing it alone.
The animal turns around and walks away and you continue to walk along your path on the rainbow road.
You continue walking and as you look down you notice that your steps are kind of sinking into the colour.
It's strange because your steps are still solid.
But as you step into the ground,
The colour radiates around your feet.
Almost like you're stepping on pure energy.
And every step you take further,
You realise you're feeling better and better in yourself.
Whatever energy it is that you are walking through right now,
It's helping to elevate you and make you feel really good in this moment.
So enjoy this feeling.
All of a sudden,
To the right side of the path,
You notice there's a lake.
And this lake is glistening.
And you notice behind the lake,
There is a moon.
And you've never noticed this moon before whilst walking on this road.
It's almost as if the moon is attached to this lake in some way.
It's like a little area,
Almost welcoming you to go and take a dip in the water.
You've been drawn to it,
So it's exactly what you do.
You take a step off the path and you walk towards the water.
You submerge yourself in the water,
Up to your neck.
And as you do,
You notice there's this cold feeling that goes through you,
But you don't feel cold in yourself.
It's almost like a tingly cold.
It's like your cells are vibrating.
And as you bathe in this water,
You notice that your whole body is tingling from head to toe,
And it's such a positive feeling.
You're not sure exactly what this feeling is,
But you want to stay here for a minute or so because it's such a good feeling.
Sometimes feelings are so powerful they cannot be described.
So you just simply accept what you just felt.
You step out the lake and you walk towards the path again.
And you notice that you are immediately dry.
You're excited for the rest of your adventure.
You're filled with anticipation,
Wonder,
And you're ready for whatever comes to you next.
You continue walking along the path and all of a sudden you hear this kind of low key vibration.
It's like a humming noise.
You wonder what on earth that noise is.
You take a look to the left and you notice that there is someone sitting down there cross-legged.
Once again,
However you see this person in your mind's eye is how this person is meant to be presented to you.
You're once again drawn to that area and you walk towards this person and simply sit down with him.
And continue to just sit there whilst you hear this humming noise vibrate through you.
You sit there together in solidarity.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
Hum.
You turn heads towards one another and you disrespect each other with a simple nod of solidarity.
And you walk away from this experience taking something profound which you cannot explain.
Now,
I want you to open your eyes and just become aware of the room you're in and your surroundings.
Pay attention to what you can see around you and really feel grounded in this moment.
Hopefully you will have received some kind of benefit from this meditation.
This was an adventure that I created that wasn't pre-planned.
Sometimes I think it's good to just let your mind do what it needs to do and guide how it needs to guide without planning,
Without judgement.
