Forgiving is not always an easy thing to do. Sometimes we don't even feel like the person deserves to be forgiven and that's a completely valid way to feel. However, holding onto resentment and anger for long periods is not good for our mental health. Therefore, it's important to be able to practice forgiveness for the sake of our own inner peace. It does not mean we have to forget or even have to be involved in the person's life that we felt did us wrong. This is about moving forward from emotion that has been affecting us for far too long. This exercise will help you to do exactly that.
