Beloved.
It's time to linger together for a while.
Check in with yourself by taking an inhale.
Hold.
Exhale.
Allow yourself to sway back and forth with your breath a little.
Move your body.
Align.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Exhale all the worries and cares of the day because we're going to linger here for a while together.
Make yourself 10% more comfortable.
Notice the change in the open spaces that are already happening.
Notice the excitement that your higher self feels because you are committing to pay attention,
To linger with your soul.
For just a little bit today.
The change is a gift that you're giving yourself.
This gift is soul medicine.
When you linger a while,
Happens at a soul level.
Notice as you inhale that the air feels cold and is carried to the parts of your body that needs to open.
On the exhale,
The air is warm because it has given you life.
You deserve this space,
This time of lingering.
Because it's the time you get to come home to your soul.

Allow your light to flicker on or to blaze even more brightly.
Allow your light to shine here in this darkness.
Because it is in this darkness that we are created.
It is from this space that we are brought into the light.
It is from the depths that we are born.

In the deep.
In the dark.
It is in the deep wherein we prepared for the light.
In fact,
It is in the deep that we are prepared for the light.
Inhale.
Put your hand on your heart.
Exhale.
Remember the same breath that exhales us into the depths of darkness is the same exact breath.
That inhales us back into the light.
But if we don't linger in the darkness.
If we do not learn to turn our light on in the darkness.
We can never find the light.
Because we forget to trust.
So linger dear one,
Here with me.
It is beyond consciousness that you find your light.
Rumi says when you move beyond consciousness you caress the beloved.
But when you move into the unknown beyond everything the beloved caresses you.
So linger here a while longer.
Stay.
Let the beloved hold you here.
Let divine inspire you.
Most importantly,
Let the divine love you.
Receive.
You deserve that love that you so freely give to others.
So linger here.
Suck up all of the love that the divine has for you.
And listen.
That rhythm.
That's your heartbeat.
That's the light that brings you to life.
That's the rhythm you can only hear if you linger a while longer here in this darkness.
So please linger long enough to remember your light.
And surrender to your breath.
Let it carry you.
To the spaces beyond.
What you can control.
Honor what you can control.
And let go of what you cannot.
Those are the illusions that weigh you down,
Believing you can control the things that you can't.
And forgetting to control the things that you can,
So linger here with me,
Your higher self.
Allow the change to take you to a higher level of understanding.
Feel this.

And let go of what no longer serves you.
Remember your strength.

And hug your abdomen with the hand that is over your abdomen.
Reminding yourself that you will be there.
And you are going to let go of that which you cannot control.

It's safe.
It's good.
And it's warm because it's you.
Open your eyes and look around.
Look for five things to ground yourself.
See if you can touch three different textures on something smooth.
Perhaps something soft.
Perhaps something rough.
See if you can hear three different things.
Perhaps my voice.
Perhaps your heartbeat.
Perhaps the music.
See if you can taste or imagine two different things.
Perhaps the taste of an orange.
The taste of spearmint.
The taste of cold,
Fresh water.
It's not one thing.
You can give yourself a smile.
Thank you for transcending the physical for just a little while.
Linger in the space of your soul.
You'll know when it's time to go.
To step up out of this space and to carry your light into the darkness.
