As you lie here in your cozy bed,
We're going to take a journey in our minds.
Imagine you can see the sun coming up over the mountains in the distance.
You can feel the sun's rays warm on the soles of your feet.
Inhale and breathe in that warmth through the feet and draw it up your body right up to the crown of the head.
The warmth you are breathing in is more than just the sun's rays.
Strong,
Powerful,
All knowing universal energy to fill you up and prepare you for your day.
Draw it in through the feet all the way up to the crown of the head.
You're feeling stronger and more powerful with each breath.
You are exactly where you're supposed to be.
Every single day and every single moment is an opportunity for you to learn and grow and be your best authentic self.
Repeat silently after me.
I am enough.
I have enough.
I do enough.
Imagine you go out into the world today,
Share your special light.
Become aware of the soft sheets on your bed.
Notice where the sheets connect with your body.
Notice the soft fluffy pillow under your head.
Notice how relaxed your body feels.
Notice your slow and rhythmic breath.
Whatever you're doing today,
Ask yourself,
How can I show up as my best self today?
You are unique and special.
There's nobody else like you.
So go out into the world today and shine your light.
Turn the corners of the mouth up and begin to wiggle the fingers and the toes.
Creating fists with the hands and stretching the fingers out,
Pointing and flexing the feet.
Just noticing how your body feels.
Now stretching the arms and legs out like you're a big bright shining star.
Still moving the fingers and toes.
Getting ready for a great day ahead.
Now bend the knees one at a time,
Leave them far apart and drop the knees to the right and turn the head to the left.
Take a nice deep inhalation and change sides,
Head to the right,
Knees to the left.
Deep breath.
Bring the knees into the chest now for a hug and gently rock from side to side.
When you're ready rolling over into the fetal position and curling up for a few breaths.
Pushing yourself up to a seat on the side of the bed now.
Sitting up nice and tall and stretching over to one side.
Inhale to centre,
Exhale change sides.
One more on each side.
And interlock the hands behind the back,
Open the chest.
Stand beside your bed and fold forward into uttanasana,
The forward bend.
Nod the head yes,
Turn the head no and let it hang heavy.
Gently uncurl now,
Head like lead,
Arms like lead,
One vertebrae at a time.
The head will be the last thing to come on top of the shoulders as you roll them back and down.
