Welcome to the Heart Workers' Philosophical Journey.
Today,
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Let's begin by taking a moment to allow your body to settle.
Sit with a straight spine or lie down.
Close your eyes.
Relax your shoulders.
And take this time to connect with your own body.
Let your body and your mind feel loose and relaxed.
Notice any thoughts as they arise and pass through the mind.
Be kind with yourself.
Let them come and go.
Observe them as if they were clouds in the sky.
Turn your attention now to your breath,
Noticing each inhale and each exhale without trying to control anything.
There is nothing to do.
Just feel your breath as it flows into your nose,
As it moves into your throat,
Your chest,
Your belly.
Now,
Take a full breath in through the nose and a long breath out through the mouth with an audible sound.
One more time,
Take a full breath in through the nose and a long breath out through the mouth.
One last time on your own.
Now,
Make no attempt to control anything,
Allowing yourself to be fully present.
Simply observing your breath as it flows in and out naturally.
Listen to the silence.
It's time for us to accept who we truly are and every part of who we are.
We tend to show everyone around us the best parts of us,
To impress others.
And of course,
Those parts are real,
True and authentic.
But it's not entirely who we are.
We all have a dark side beneath a social mask,
Passions,
Controlling attitude,
Weaknesses,
Impulses,
Perversions,
Fears.
Whether we like it or not,
It's hard to accept it,
To recognize it and to be okay with it.
But allowing yourself to accept our dark side is the beginning of a beautiful relationship with ourselves.
Our dark sides are the emotions and qualities about ourselves that we reject,
That we wish would go away.
Sensitivity,
Anger,
Competitiveness,
Jealousy.
Exploring and embracing our dark sides lead to more authenticity,
Self-love and love for others.
We avoid self-sabotaging and we can impact more positively others.
We become agents of compassion.
A key to accept our dark sides is to think that every emotion we possess helps show us the way to grow.
Sensitivity,
Improvement,
Consciousness.
A very sensitive person has the ability to be very empathetic and can be a very good writer who could easily imagine realistic characters.
So every dark side has a counterpart,
A beautiful part.
Think now of yourself.
Remember that you are safe now.
Let's be courageous together.
What are you ashamed of?
What makes you vulnerable?
What part of you may annoy you?
Or what part of you often annoys others?
Remember,
It's time to face your dark side now.
No one is judging you.
No one is looking at you.
You are safe.
You can be vulnerable now.
Celebrate yourself for being so sincere with yourself.
Now,
Think of a counterpart.
Because of this dark side,
What nice things are you able to achieve?
Yes,
Every dark side has a light side.
What could be the counterpart?
Feel in your hearts how you can be proud of these lights.
And allow these lights to spread within you.
A loving,
A caring,
A healing energy.
A healthy life includes joy,
Sadness,
Beauty,
Anger,
Frustration.
And thanks to those feelings,
You communicate to others.
Thanks to every part of you,
You create connections with others.
To share your feelings.
So thank those dark sides.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind today's affirmation.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
I will remain silent now for a few minutes.
You can turn your attention to your breath.
Noticing each inhale and each exhale.
Or simply relax into the quiet.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Let's now repeat three times in your mind.
Slowly begin to reawaken.
Notice your calm breath.
In and out.
Allow your awareness to turn slowly to your body.
Allowing each part of your body to reawaken slowly.
Notice the sounds around you.
Feel the floor beneath you.
And as you move forward throughout the rest of your day,
You might notice the shadow arising again.
When it happens,
Calmly look at it.
And with equal ease,
Try to revisit today's affirmation as often as possible.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Gently now open your eyes.
Welcome back to your awakened hearts.
Namaste.
