Good morning and welcome to this morning's meditation.

He is rich who owns the day and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities,
No doubt,
Crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Begin it well and serenely,
With too high a spirit to be covered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
With its hopes and invitations,
To waste a moment on the yesterdays.
This is Ralph Waldo Emerson reminding us that today is a new day and it is beautiful.
Don't let your past interfere with your destiny.
Don't let your ways of perceiving the future write your history.
Let today be the day you stop being a victim of your circumstances and start taking action towards the life you want.
You have the power and the time to shape your life.
Let go of the poisonous victim mentality and embrace the truth of your greatness.
Just as each day is a golden opportunity,
So is each moment in the day.
Treat life as extraordinary and you will see all the magic that has been passing you by.
Be open enough to see hope.
Be wise enough to feel thankful.
Be courageous enough to be joyous.
Each day is a miracle that we can feel intoxicated by if we only allow it.

Invite a deep breath into the nose and feel your chest and belly rise.

Feel the breath cleansing any residue and any sort of emotional funk that you might have built up and gone into during your sleep.

Allowing your breath to flow through all your muscles and into your cells.
Feel this positive,

Supportive energy infiltrate and saturate every cell in your body.
Keep breathing in the essence of love and clear presence.
Feel this essence saturate every cell and place your awareness on a few positive qualities that you can appreciate about yourself.
Breathing in through the nose,

As you breathe in this time,
Allow this beautiful,
Clean,
Renewing oxygen to swell within the lungs.
Feel how effortlessly the air moves down into the abdomen,
Softening all of the muscles.
Then,
Slowly and deeply release the air out through your slightly open mouth.
Allow the flow of air to move along the spine,
Bringing mindfulness to each vertebrae,
Relaxing all the muscles along the spine and gently washing away any residual thoughts or emotions from your sleep time.
As we continue letting go and freeing ourselves up for this brand new day,
Let go of any to-do list,
Removing all energy associated with your dreams.
Freeing up the body of anything that will not support you throughout the day.
Now is the time to let all that which does not serve your greater purpose to be expelled with the breath.
Now that your energies have settled a bit and you're breathing naturally,
Place your right hand upon your heart and feel into what your heart has to say this morning.
What desires does your heart want to bring to the surface?
How do you want to move towards your vision for your best life today?
What do you want to make progress with today?
Maybe you'd like to find the patience to manage yourself in a better way when you're triggered.
Or maybe your focus is in making an important decision that will have a ripple effect.
Perhaps you're working towards something beautiful in your life and suddenly feel stuck,
Like you don't know what to do next.
Whatever it may be,
Breathe deeply into this intention and then send it out into the universe with a deep and long purposeful exhale.
