Welcome to this morning sunrise visualization.
A time to relax and take a vacation,
A holiday in your mind.
Just starting by making yourself comfortable.
Any position that suits your body.
Just letting go of any tension as you begin to relax.
Taking a deep inhale and letting it go with a sigh.
Just noticing any areas of tension in your body.
Sending your breath to those areas.
Taking a deep inhale in.
And as you exhale just feeling the muscles in that area becoming more relaxed.
Imagine breathing in relaxation and breathing out tension.
And just continuing to scan your body for any other areas of tension.
And letting go.
Your body is heavy and relaxed.
And your eyelids are heavy.
Go ahead and close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
And starting to create a picture in your mind.
A picture of the ocean and the beach.
Just before sunrise.
Walking in the soft sand.
Feeling the sand under your feet.
The ocean is very calm.
Just some small ripples where gentle peaceful waves roll in towards the shore.
The sun has not yet risen.
The sky is dark.
The air is cool and comfortable.
And feel a calm comfortable breeze on your skin.
And you just notice the leaves of the palm trees gently swaying back and forth.
Noticing the sounds of the water.
The smells all around you.
Just hearing the slight rustling of leaves as the palm branches sway gently.
And just looking over towards the horizon you start to notice that the sun is just starting to rise.
A little spot of light on the horizon.
You see the light growing as the sun just begins to rise.
You notice the streaks of light reflecting on the water.
And just notice the birds as they fly across the sun as it rises seeing their silhouette.
Continuing to notice the peaceful waves.
Just lapping at the shore.
Notice the sand.
The warm sand.
And as you look out towards the horizon just noticing the beautiful colours as the sun rises more into the sky.
The pinks and the reds and the orange giving a beautiful warm glow all around.
And the sun has just risen above the horizon for it's very low in the sky.
You start to feel the gentle heat of the sun on your skin.
Continuing to relax for a few moments here.
Just smiling as you know it's going to be a beautiful day.
Taking a deep inhale in and letting it go with a sigh.
Just starting to bring your awareness back into your room again.
Bringing some movement to your fingers and your toes.
Just letting your body wake up.
Opening your eyes gently.
And just breathing in all the goodness that the day has to offer.
