Welcome to this 5 minute reset.
This is your moment to rest and reset.
Allow yourself to sit comfortably or lie down if that feels right.
Let your hands rest softly.
Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in and letting go.
Begin to notice your breathing just as it is.
No need to change it,
Simply observe.
Notice the rise of your chest,
The fall of your belly.
Feel the surface beneath you,
Supporting you,
Holding your body.
Let your shoulders soften.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax the space between your eyebrows.
Continuing focusing on your breath.
Long inhales through your nose.
Long exhales.
Bringing your awareness to your forehead.
Imagine it smoothing.
Coming down to your eyes,
Let them be heavy.
Relax your cheeks,
Your mouth and your tongue.
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
As you exhale,
Allow your shoulders to drop just a little bit more.
If you notice any tension,
Just breathe into that space.
As you exhale,
Imagine that tension melting away.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to solve.
Thoughts may still be moving through your mind.
That's ok.
Imagine placing each thought onto a leaf and letting them float gently down the stream.
Coming back to your breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Each breath is a reset button,
Resetting your mind.
Each exhale clears a little more space.
Now bring your attention to your heart space.
Place a hand there if you'd like.
And silently repeat,
I am here.
I am safe in this moment.
I can begin again.
And just let those words settle.
Inhale.
Feel your body breathing.
Feel the quiet returning.
Coming back to your centre.
And just asking yourself gently,
What do I need next?
Clarity.
Focus.
Kindness.
Set one simple intention for the rest of your day.
Taking in a final slow nourishing breath.
And let it out through the mouth,
Nice and steady.
When you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Roll your shoulders back.
Open your eyes.
You are reset.
You are grounded.
And you can begin again.
Have a wonderful day.
