Hi,
And thanks for joining day 12 of the mindful minute.
This is Laura.
Today,
I'd like to introduce the concept of a mantra.
And I'd like to use a Sanskrit mantra,
Stira and sukha.
So Stira is stable and steady.
And sukha is calm and relaxed,
Joyful.
So there's balance in these opposites.
So go ahead and find a comfortable seat.
Turn your your gaze downward or close your eyes.
Take a few deep breaths.
And go ahead and repeat these two words to yourself.
Embracing the concepts of their meaning,
Stira and sukha.
You're welcome to use the English translation of steadiness or stable or security.
And calm,
Relaxed or joy,
Whatever works best for you.
Moving with your breath.
Repeating silently to yourself.
Stira and sukha.
Your steadiness and joy.
Noticing the balance.
Inhale and exhale.
Continue this practice as long as you wish and enjoy.
